Very helpful front desk, especially Ms Sun who helped with our luggages as there is no lift connection between the ground floor reception and the first floor. Bathroom layout is not optimal as there is no space beside basin to put your stuffs. Overall very value for money stay.

離避暑山莊麗景門近，步行十分鐘可到。酒店設定陳舊，衞生間小，我住的房間床頭燈還少了一個。早餐很簡單。購物吃飯很近很方便。我當初選這家是因為有停車位，的確是有，門口七八個。但是酒店所在的小區在一個坡上，而且小區道路狹窄。進入艱難，出口還有個陡峭的大下坡，新手司機慎選。

Though the walls are a little thin. We were woken up both morning by loud voices in the corridor (other guests or cleaning staff).
Breakfast is Chinese and not served as buffet during off-season. I would consider it rather basic but good quality.
Highlights are the deers roaming around the hotel area freely.

MMaria InmaculadaMy experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night.
Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests.
Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too.
All in all, I would probably stay there again.

One even tried to speak English, which was not necessary but certainly I appreciated the effort! Room was clean and tidy and they even upgraded me for free! PPengguna TetamuThe lobby was fancy and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly, even though they didn't speak any English Check-in as a foreign was hassle-free. The breakfast buffet was typical Chinese hotel breakfast food, just normal, but lacking in fresh fruit. It's close enough to the Mountain Scenic area to walk. I have two complaints, though. I had a windowless room, and it smelled awful inside, and the ventilation fan didn't help get rid of the smell. Also, the shower door wouldn't close all the way, so it left a huge puddle on the bathroom floor every time I took a shower. It was uncomfortable taking a shower while trying to hold the door shut as much as possible, too. The room was clean, when I checked in, though, and cleaned daily. I could hear some noise from guests in other rooms, like loud talking and toilets flushing. It would definitely be better if I had gotten a room with windows, to help get that smell out. It's easy to walk along the river from this hotel's location, though.

Dari masa kami mendaftar masuk untuk mendaftar keluar, kepada kakitangan di restoran, mereka semua memberikan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik, dengan senyuman yang baik, keramahan dan bersedia membantu jika anda mempunyai sebarang pertanyaan. Mereka sangat akomodatif untuk keperluan kami juga kerana kami mempunyai beberapa daripada kami yang vegetarian.
Sarapan yang disediakan pada waktu pagi sangat baik dan sangat menyegarkan. Sihat juga. Jika anda mahukan lebih banyak perkara yang anda suka, mereka akan mengeluarkannya semula. Kami makan di restoran pada waktu malam juga, dan makanannya sedap.
Bilik ini mempunyai semua kemudahan yang anda perlukan. Sayang sekali spa tidak dibuka semasa kami berada di sana (kerana penyelenggaraan).
Secara keseluruhan, tempat yang sangat baik untuk tinggal, betul-betul di kaki tembok besar. Tembok besar Jingshanlin cantik dan salah satu bahagian tembok besar yang indah. Pasti berbaloi untuk dikunjungi.

Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

RRODBy far the best accommodation in Chengde, in relation between price and quality. The service was amazing!!! I don't know how much money the reception ladies make, but they deserve a raise, every single time I had a question they were able to answer, from places to go, to places to eat. Limited english support, of course, but a translation app does the job. The room I stayed in was male-only. The beds all had curtains, an indoor light, and a private plug for charging, so no complaints. The in-room bathroom was always clean aswell.
The only con would be the amenities, no towel, no toothbrush, but I had brought my own so not a problem for me, and this is begging to look like common practice at hostels worlwide. And you need to make your own bed. Aside from that everything was perfect.

RRoszaimyWonderful location just at the entrance of Chengde Mountain Resort. Possibly walkable from Chengde rail station (not Chengde South / Chengdenan). Friendly front desk staff. Had initial issue with in-room wifi router. Resolved by changing room. The room itself was located at the back of the main building. Bathroom was a bit odd; showering will wet the toilet bowl seating area. Hot water initially didn’t work well but eventually improved. Note that the reception will require ¥100 deposit; best if paid cash so that you get the cash back on checkout (whereas using AliPay or credit card may take some time for the money to be returned). Generous daily housekeeping with towel changes and bottled water. Refillable drinking water was also available at the lobby. Lots of eating options around the hotel area. Buses to Puning Temple are also easily accessible and very frequent.
