We highly recommend this hotel when in Chengdu! The staff are very friendly, and helpful. We arrived late night and were quite tired, but were pleasantly surprised that the check-in staff offered us a room upgrade. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. We had a nice rest that evening. Thank you to the R Royalss team for a pleasant stay!

The hotel is very close to Chunxi road and there are many restaurants and shops nearby (you just have to cross a pedestrian overpass). I recommend taking a cab to and from airport. However, if you want to take the airport transfer bus the ifs building is not far. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is very friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a few days during our trip out of town. Breakfast was decent with many selection and I like the fact that they serve afternoon snacks and late night porridge for free. Also, the hotel upgraded the room for us to a family room and my kid loved it. Thank you very much, will come here again :)

Great location, walking distance to Chun Xi road. Near to metro exitE1. The room is big and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. 👍

Definitely worth more than what I paid. The staff were exceptionally well-trained, welcoming, and polite—something I haven’t experienced at other hotels in China. Even the lady at the restaurant, who only spoke Mandarin, was incredibly friendly. The hotel’s location isn’t very close to the metro, but the great service more than made up for it. Breakfast was good—though limited in variety, it was more than adequate. The room was spacious, clean, and filled with essential amenities. I especially appreciated the unlimited supply of drinking water for guests. But it would’ve been even better if there was a small fridge in the room. My only concern was that the hotel shares the building and elevators with other occupants. I occasionally noticed the doors to each floor left open, which raised some safety concerns since it felt like anyone could access the hotel room floors.

I wished that I didn’t change my itinerary so I could stay here longer. The hotel is in good location, walkable to Chunxi Road metro station. Across the bridge is Chunxi Road area. The room was very clean, the service was marvellous. After checked in, the staff brought some drinks and snack to room. They served afternoon tea and night porridge. The staff helped me to do laundry and brought it to my room. One of them speak good English and very helpful. The internet connection was also great, I haven’t able to sync my phone for 3-4 days, but had no issue here, pretty happy. I will come back to see pandas and definitely will stay here. Thank you your great service.

Overall the hotel is good, the room is clean and tidy, the hotel service is good, the front desk is very enthusiastic to make red sugar ginger tea at the hotel when we check in, they upgraded our room for free. The hotel is in Chunxi Road, the location is really good, it is very convenient to go anywhere. There is porridge at night (for free and different flavour everyday), it is quite good. Recommend!

During my recent trip to Chengdu, I stayed at the Meihua R Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel’s prime location near Chunxi Road made it exceptionally convenient for shopping and dining. A short walk across the nearby overpass brought me directly to the bustling pedestrian street. Additionally, both the subway and bus stations were just steps away, facilitating easy exploration of the city. The hotel’s front desk, situated on the 7th floor, required a transfer between elevators to reach the rooms, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the staff’s warm and enthusiastic service more than compensated for this. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully prepared; I was even offered a refreshing wet towel upon arrival. One of the standout features of the Meihua R Hotel was the complimentary afternoon tea and evening porridge, both of which were delightful and served in a clean, inviting environment. These thoughtful touches enhanced my overall experience. In summary, the combination of the hotel’s strategic location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations made my stay memorable. I highly recommend the Meihua R Hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu and look forward to returning on my next visit.

Best hotel during my trip. Just opposite to the shopping areas of Chunxi road. Shoutout to Ms. Xiao (肖小姐) for providing such a warm service during our stay. There is also afternoon tea and supper provided by the hotel.
