Room is so spacious with nice view. Served up nice breakfast. Location is just opposite Chiayi station.

Old Hotel, overall good and convinient location right in front of JiaYi Train Station, can take bus at downstairs to travel around for sight seeing.

Hotel and the building was a little dated and looked like it could do with updating and a few repairs but the room, lobby and restaurant was nice and clean. The location was pretty good. Right across from the station, close to the night market, a short walk to the Ximen, and close bus routes. I wasn’t giving high hopes for the free breakfast but ended up quite enjoying it. Overall quite happy.

The hotels in Chiayi were quite expensive and this hotel was very decently priced for the standard. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself was surprisingly nice. Breakfast was functional, and the staff were friendly. Right across from the train station. Close to eating places and walkable to the night market. Absolutely no complaints.

perfect location...the hotel can be seen once you get out from the Chiayi Hotel.. Muslim traveler I highly recommend this hotel..the room is spacious, the toilet is super clean. And you can go to the halal restaurant run by an Indonesian just in front of the hotel..their food is superb guys.. The staff very very friendly and helpful (I face some difficulty with the dryer) shout out to the lady (maybe she work as a housekeeping) she is very helpful and very nice. And also the guy who work in dining ( he wear glasses) he also took an effort to understand my English and help me with the dryer... Seriously it was a pleasant stay in this hotel...

Good location to go to alishan

The location is very nice! It is just located opposite to the Chiayi train station and very suitable for the traveller who are planning to go Alishan by the bus or train.

Hotel staff are friendly. Room is clean except found some hair on bathroom floor. Very good location just opposite the train station with many food options and convenience stores within walking distance. Amenities are old but in good working condition. Breakfast is very basic, not as good as what the other reviews have mentioned, acceptable given it’s free and very cheap room rate. Would recommend this hotel for 1-2 nights stay.

Blanket smell not good

Staff was really nice and helped us with booking things in the area. Breakfast was also quality.

The breakfast are nice. The stuff too. Tho it is not a new hotel but location is right next to where you pick up and dropped off from Alishan. Super convenient. We booked family room and the space is beyond huge.

Hotel that is near to the TRA station. Very convenient if you are going to Alisan the next day.

Room toilet was clogged on the first day. External facade very poorly maintained. More suited for Mandarin speaking guests only. Room is very dated and cleanliness is suspect. Towels are very well worn and need to be refreshed. Guest must inform the reception daily for housekeeping. Buffet Breakfast is limited in selection and repeated daily. Location is just across the Chiayi TRA station.

Great location and very convenient but the place isn't really clean. The building is very old. However , we enjoyed our stay. The day we stayed was an earthquake at night, nobody called or told us to do anything. We were a bot terrified.
