The facilities were good. The check in staff was excellant and very accommodating. Upon my return I discovered a 40.00 charge on my card. When I called to get a explanation of this I was placed on a lengthy hold then asked for my confirmation number which I had to look up as it was not readily available. When I returned to the call it was disconnected. Had to call back hold again then asked for last name not confirmation number. So a bit confused about that. Then told that the charge was 40.00 for parking, surprise surprise. I don't mind the fee, the surprise I do mind as well as the condescending, surly attitude from the person I spoke with. Think I'll choose some where else on my next trip to chicago.

When I went to the University of Chicago, I chose accommodation near the Hyatt Place. The accommodation quality is good, the space is large, clean and tidy, and the breakfast is quite rich. There are many black people around, but it is a safe place. Public transportation is very close, and you can check the arrival time on the map. I don't drive, so I don't know the parking situation.

It's a little far away from the city. I booked this hotel because I needed it for a business trip.

The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is rich in the United States. The hotel is very close to the University of Chicago Medical School and is convenient.

The environment is good, the location is excellent, and it is very close to the University of Chicago. The hotel is fully equipped. All in all, all good, just a little pricey

This place is amazing. Absolutely love it. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Location is amazing. Great places to eat and for entertainment. Taking my wife there for are anniversary.

TV not working and staff could not fix it. No TV channels and streaming did not work. Pool was out of order. I am here with two teenagers for spring break. We were stuck with using our phones in our hotel room. Thank goodness I am not here for multiple days...because we would not be.

this hotel offers a nice, clean, safe, cozy place to stay that is walking distance from the hospital and also lots of great restaurants. i stay here whenever i have to travel for medical care

Parking in the hotels garage would have been super convenient but it was more expensive than the garage next door or street parking. Staff at the front desk were AWESOME. Housekeeping was very loud in the mornings - yelling to each other down the hallway for an extended period of time (even after I opened the door and ask them to stop yelling because someone in the room was still sleeping). Did I mention the front desk staff were AWESOME.

A fine hotel to stay in in Hyde Park. Super convenient - very close to the Metra and to lots and lots of dining options. Can get a little loud if you're on a lower floor.

I have stayed in many hotels, and I have to say the staff is the nicest and most helpful that I've ever met!

******* had parking at a different cost than what I was charged at the hotel. It would be helpful to have accurate pricing when booking. The hotel was nice but everyone in our party said the beds were too stiff and the pillows were horrible. Breakfast was a typical continental.
