Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Design is cute and seems to have a relatively lower cost similar to others in same category. Unfortunately, heat did not work well (took an entire night to get to high 60s/low 70s despite being on max and their engineer checking on the issue twice) and the shower pressure is extremely poor, which is probably the thing I care most about :( I also ended up keeping my blinds closed for the sake of privacy as the view for my room was ugly (just faced another tall building, even on a high/upgraded floor) and others could easily see in. Btw this was the king room on this site. I paid around $145. I don’t think I got a particularly poor room as I have an elite Marriott status that qualifies me for free upgrades, and the hotel was relatively empty on the day I stayed. Usually I don’t care much about quality of customer service, but it was overall quite poor on numerous issues, with the exception being the person who checked me in (she was quite stellar). But yeah would not stay in this hotel again if visiting Chicago.

The experience was great. The service was pretty good. The sheets and pillowcases had makeup stains, was not happy about that! Also, animal friendly, not sure if they separate rooms just for owners and animals. Or if they mix them!

The hotel is amazing. It is especially a great place to stay if you’re going as a couple. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the hotel staff, room service robots, and valet parking. The vibes are definitely giving at this property.

This was our hotel of choice for Valentine’s Day but we will not be returning. It says check in is 4pm but there weren’t any rooms ready at 4. The line to check in was out of the door. We had to cancel our dinner reservations because we didn’t have time after waiting for the room. I made an order to be delivered by the Leo and Cleo robots which is my favorite part of the stay. An hour went by and we had to check out so we didn’t get it. When we went down to check out the robots were just sitting there and they didn’t even put in our order.

Great hotel with a great downtown location. Cool vibes inside and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

I really loved this hotel. It was in the perfect location to walk to any of the places I planned to go to during my short trip to Chicago. The hotel itself is decorated perfectly. Our room was luxurious! The staff was friendly. They have two robots named “Leo” and “Cleo” who come up to the room if you request anything such as complimentary water, laundry bags, etc. This hotel is a 10/10.

We absolutely loved the Hotel EMC2!!! Definitely will be back, enjoy the art, the room was beautiful.

The valet parking was great, because it can be very hard to park in Chicago. They helped us unload everything from our car. The hotel rooms are very unique and modern. The restaurant downstairs has a full bar with talented bartenders.

From check in Jax was Great and Lakisha is outstanding the whole staff was Amazing very clean 10/10 will be back

The room decor was beautiful and the bed comfortable. I liked the bathroom fixtures they were very unique. Nice city views!
