The Swan Inn

I understand its under new ownership and I hope it goes well for them as we had a fantastic meal. Very friendly and efficient waiter, really cosey dining area, and excellent food. Frankly so much more welcoming than the neighboring pub in Chiddingfold where ive had 2 bad experiences (with the service). Highly recommended.

Top drawer. Lovely room (room 7) two levels, comfortable, two TVs. Fab bath and shower, lovely food and great staff. Highly recommended. We will definitely return, we love weekend breaks and this was right up there. Could have stayed a lot longer.

Stayed here for just 1 night for a family occasion. On 1st arriving we were greeted by a wonderful young man (didn't catch his name) with a massive smile & very welcoming manner, who instantly informed us that our room had been upgraded for free!! Result! We were given all info regarding dinner times/breakfast etc & how to use the night entrance (a brilliant idea) if we were to arrive back late. The room (suite) we were led to was absolutely stunning. Very spacious, spotlessly clean & interior design to die for. Everything was so well thought out & if we'd stayed in a Plush hotel in London we wouldn't have had a nicer room I'm sure. Another family member also stayed the night & their room was just as lovely although not quite as big. We headed off out & arrived back later for a couple of drinks in the bar which were once again served by delightful staff with great humour & banter! Breakfast was superb, hearty, healthy & delicious & the whole vibe of the beautiful old building was a total delight to relax in. Most of all though, it was the staff who are the jewel in their crown. Nothing was too much trouble & should we ever be in the area again, we would jump at the chance of staying at this beautiful little gem again. I've always worked in Front of House/ Customer service as thats my passion & very much a dying art in todays society Im afraid to say, but The Swan puts its customers front & centre & practices customer service at it's finest. You could teach some of the big companies a thing or two. We'll done one & all!

Great pub with spacious comfortable rooms , the staff are friendly we were well looked after especially by Sam and Jessie , the pub has a nice garden with table heaters nice touch also free parking on site a big plus ,you must try the food top especially the Sunday roast one of the best

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Staff were exceptional, rooms beautiful, beds super comfortable, food glorious and top quality. We went for a family wedding near by and the location was perfect. The village is picture perfect and the Swan Inn just adds to this. Sorry travellers but my only issue is that I think they need to increase their prices for the extremely high level of service you get.

Wonderful location, room very clean and comfy, food in the restaurant well cooked and well presented, no fault at all. Definitely we will come back, the atmosphere is lovely, from the welcoming, staff very helpful and polite, it’s one of the gems in Surrey
