Hotel Blue Pearl Chikmagalur

Hotel was good. But we have went as two couples and 2 rooms were booked. Rooms provided were in different floors.

The property is quite well maintained but the experience has been mixed. The manager and the restaurant staffs were very forthcoming and took utmost care whenever we asked for anything. The executive room we stayed were quite hygienic and neat but 2nd day cleaning wasn’t done properly, addition of 1 more chair and a table in the room would be helpful. The breakfast spread was ok and so was the taste. We saw lot of willingness and eagerness to serve us the best food by the staffs in the restaurant. We liked the intent of the chef and staffs.

Unfortunately this is the 1st time, i had a very bad experience, when we were offered a room ac was not working, tv was not working, fortunately enough after calling mm t and some fuss by hotel people on how we cannot understand what they communicated (nonsense) we got new room. Managed day 1 and day 2 we went to temple in morning, to our surprise which we seem to have expected after day 1 the room key was deactivated, after talking to help desk got it activated. Day 3 ( day of checkout) went to have complimentary breakfast again to our hard luck couldnt understand how the staff who had known 55 people coming for breakfast tried to manage by providing the breakfast at a time for about 10 people and others had to wait for 10 to 15 mns for the refill, we left as we dont want to ruin our good day ahead, called helpdesk for checkout, surprise again the person who was supposed to help with luggage barged into the room with the key and we felt helpless ( luckily we were done with our showers and ready to leave). Final twist in our sad tale, lift was not having sensors my 5 year would have met with serious injuries if me and my wife didnt come onetime and tried to forcefully stop it, my son was already terrified by then, as usual the hotel reception simply says sorry about all this. Hope our sorry tale doesnt happen to others

As per hotel it's very good, but the service is not as per the hotel standard, service is very slow.

Room was good. On the second day water was not coming only to our room. We have informed, even after 2 hours there is no water in any of the taps and no alternative arranged. After multiple shout out they gave bucket of water. Very bad experience.

Hi. I'm posting this while I'm on board. Having booked 2 rooms for 2 nights & had to continue for 2 more nights. It's a sheer waste of money. Staff is totally irresponsible & not at all responding & all credits to the WORST MANAGEMENT as I belive it is not the staff but the management who as to control & ensure hospitality. Restaurant is more of like a charitable free food service with a very little & that too stale food. Anyone who is opting to book this problem should think twice, as there is difference between Paid reviews Vs geniune reviews.

The executive room is same as other rooms. No difference except for the size of bed maybe. Service is a little slow. Ac wasn’t working for the second day. Hotel food is below average.
