We had an absolutely excellent stay at The Tangko Resort Inn. We are bird watchers and before our stay had communicated with Rei at the Tangko Resort and had agreed a “package” for accommodation, all food, transport from Jakarta to the hotel, transport onwards to Carita and then from Carita back to Jakarta. The package also included being taken on the back of motorcycles driven by the hotel’s staff to Gunung Gede NP very early each morning and picking us up late in the day. Rei was nothing short of meticulous in his planning and preparation and everything worked out exceptionally well. Our room was clean, spacious with two queen beds, hot water and a nice balcony/terrace. We had a different Chef and Chef’s assistant in the morning from the evening and both teams produced an amazing quality and quantity of food. Breakfast was often at 4.30am and had 4 to 5 courses and the Chef prepared what can only be described as “Gourmet Packed Lunches”. The evening Chef delighted us with his inspiring dishes. We did not have a menu to choose from, we simply allowed the Chef to cook whatever he felt we would like, after asking us a few questions each day. Each night we were treated to many courses of superb quality food, which was a highlight of our whole trip to Java and Sumatra. All of the staff were unfailingly helpful despite our needing breakfast and transport very early each morning. We stayed mid-week and were the only guests and were looked after expertly. A bonus was a Javan Kingfisher photographed in the garden. A special thank you to Rei who went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend The Tangko Inn Resort and wish that we could find places of a similar standard in our trips around the world.

Ini adalah kawasan pelancongan yang matang, terdapat banyak hotel dari semua jenis, persaingan sengit, dan kehidupan sangat selesa. Keadaan di sini agak perlahan, dan restoran di luar ditutup pada awal malam. Hotel ini sangat berpatutan pada harga ini.Biliknya besar dan udara sangat baik.Pemandangan di sini juga sangat cantik.Ada dua gunung berdekatan. Sarapan percuma hotel, walaupun tidak banyak jenis, penuh dengan nasi goreng, telur dan kopi. Tidak ramai tetamu di hotel, rumput taman yang kecil sangat bagus, dan saya membiarkan drone terbang dengan cara itu. Kena pandu sendiri ke sini, dan kena pandu beberapa cerun untuk naik ke jalan besar.Cerun di Indonesia nampak begitu curam, sempit dan curam.

Terdapat beberapa perkara yang saya suka tentang tempat ini: 1. tempat yang dekat dengan puncak pas puncak, jadi pastinya sejuk 2. persekitaran hotel yang cantik, banyak pokok, ada tasik, jauh dari kesesakan jalan raya. 3. bilik yang selesa, tilam bersih dan empuk, air suam, tuala mandi tebal dan panjang, selimut tilam tebal, air mineral dan air suam disediakan dalam termos, 4. harga mampu milik 5. Boleh buat camping juga 6. ada villa untuk mereka yang datang (berdekatan dengan tasik) Saya mengesyorkannya sekali untuk mereka yang ingin tinggal di kawasan laluan atas

Ini adalah villa yang memiliki 6 kamar (cuma 1 kamar yang ada kamar mandi dalam), dan masing-masing kamarnya disewakan. Dalam villanya luas banget (ada 2 ruang keluarga), Lokasi villanya dekat dengan pos security jadi in syaa Allah aman, lokasi kompleknya juga dekat dengan pasar Cipanas, jadi mau cari apa-apa gampang. Kamarnya bersih, penjaganya ramah, pelayanannya oke, dan ada fasilitas kolam renang umum (club house) yang cukup seru untuk anak-anak.
