My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel last weekend and although the hotel itself was nice (there is daily construction on the 5th floor but it wasn’t disruptive at all) the management was absolutely AWFUL. We booked through Expedia and thought we booked the suite w/ jacuzzi however when we arrived they said that wasn’t the case. I asked the lady at the front desk that was very nice how much it would cost to upgrade. She explained it would be over $100 per night to upgrade. I showed her the price that Expedia was offering for that room which was significantly less and with the managers approval she agreed to match the advertised price on Expedia. We got the king suite with jacuzzi and have zero complaints about the room, it was spacious and the jacuzzi was spa like! We extended our stay another night and confirmed that it would be the same price. This wasn’t the case. We had to constantly call the front desk to contact the manager because the charges on my credit card were much higher than the price they agreed to match with Expedia. There was no manager available all weekend long and we were told he would call us or come in to discuss the issue. He didn’t. Not only were we overcharged the first night but they charged even more the second night. It felt as if management was dodging us and eventually when we checked out we were told to call during the week. The manager accused us of “scamming” them, hung up on us and refused to correct the charges.

Lets start with the positive things first. The entire hotel has been renovated, so the property both inside and outside are well maintained, clean and attractive to the eye. There's no foul smells, or old and musty smells. The room was complete with all the necessary storage options, a large TV, comfy beds and all the amenities needed in the bathroom (including shampoo and conditioner bottles on the wall...not those little tiny bottles that a woman with long hair can't even use). Front staff was friendly and efficient. The only issue I had here was it was 4 pm on a Friday when we were checking in and there was only 1 person doing the check in's. There was a long line and we had to wait quite some time before we could check in. I would recommend a second staff member for busy check in times to make things run a bit smoother. Now, the negatives. The first negative I had was the staff early in the morning. One of our group members became ill during our trip. We called at 5:30 am to see if the room we had was still available so we could extend our stay. The staff member was impatient on the phone and did not want to assist us. The first excuse they gave us was that we couldn't make a reservation on the phone and we had to do it in person... (ummmm....aren't most reservations either made online or on the phone????) and that we had to wait to 8 am when the next shift was in. When I mentioned that our original reservation was made via phone, he then changed his tune and said 'he didn't want to make the reservation for us as his shift was almost over”. We ended up not staying. Second complaint was the lack of night time security in the hallways. We travel a lot for kids sporting events (that's why we were here). Our kids sporting events start very early in the mornings (we're typically up anywhere between 5 am and 6 am). So when there's teenage kids in the hallways, running up and down, yelling, laughing, carrying on and making huge amounts of noise at 2 am in the morning, this is a concern. There was a security camera located in the hallway so unless it's there for show or not being watched by staff, there's no way this behaviour should be allowed to continue. ( I know that parents are responsible for their kids...but lets be honest and realize not all parents 'parent' their kids, otherwise this wouldn't have happened).

Staff seemed to be friendly and helpful. Just very disappointed that the hot tub and waterslide were both out of service during our stay there. Both of those items were the entire reason that we booked this particular hotel in the first place.

I stayed at this hotel the evening of April 30, 2022. The checkin was quick and easy, the room was a decent size (no need to sidle around the beds to move around), the room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. There's a small fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave in the room. There is a breakfast included which was pretty darn good: everything from pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelettes, sausages, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit (apples, bananas etc), bagels, croissants, muffins and even WARM CINAMMON ROLLS!! Free wifi was appreciated. Checkout was also quick and easy. So it was a positive experience for me

Ce motel est très confortable. C'est un excellent endroit pour passer une bonne nuit et se reposer.
