I would have given 4 out of 5, but the one guy at reception is really not friendly at all. Also some minus points for other things I will explain. The location is superb, but if you want to visit the town or go somewhere you either need a taxi or you have to able to walk up a steep hill when returning. But the view from the pool area and from the restaurant is amazing. Checkin was not pleasant at all. Yes, we were early (noon), but at least make your guests feel welcome. At last we could change and go to the pool area when waiting for the room to be ready. We got a room on the 1st floor of the main building. Unfortunately there were 2 hockey teams in our corridor as well, so it was rather noisy from time to time. Also you could hear the flush of the toilet of the room next to you. They left a lot of their clothes, shoes and other stuff in the hallway, which meant you had a smell of dirty socks when entering the hallway. At least they were quiet at night as they had a tournament going on. The cleaning staff was amazing. The pool is very nice with towel service and free beds. You have an amazing view of the area and the see. There is a bar where you can drink and eat something. And the staff there was amazing as well. We tried the restaurant twice and it is definitely to recommend. The food is excellent and service is smooth. The staff of the restaurant is so friendly and helpful. The fitness area: There is no airco in the part where the gym is, so it can be extremely hot. The sauna was out of order during our stay. They also had a spa area (an indoor pool), but then we had to pay 18 euro extra per hour per persoon. This could be a gem, but there are too many flaws currently, we can only give a 3.

This was a nice hotel in a beautiful, lively location. Rooms are a little on the small side in their apartments and for some reason cant get extra pillows but I found staff to be wonderful and very friendly and kind. I dont think you could pick a more perfect, beautiful location. Its steps from the beach. Beware pool is a little cold off season.

If you’re looking for a cheap & cheerful hotel within easy reach of the airport, this place might fit the bill. Rooms are clean and tidy although, my room overlooked a fairly busy road. South facing balcony. Breakfast was included. The outdoor pool is only open in the summer. Bus L99 from terminal 1 stops outside the door (Pl. Colom), 25 mins, €2.40. Nothing of interest in the locality. I’d use it again.

Just had a really pleasant stay at Castell Beach. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the restaurant and beach. The apartment was really clean and airy with fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is manned from morning until evening but you can WhatsApp with any queries. I messaged about air-con and they came straight back to me, I also messaged and asked they booked a taxi, which they did. Probably not the best place if you are not particularly used to relying on your phone, as checkin and you room key/code are all done on line. I would definitely visit again.

We stayed in this beach town our last night before flying back to the States. I kid you not, we were in the BCN airport terminal 15 minutes after leaving the hotel, including checking in the rental car. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff welcoming. Breakfast many choices. An easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. The pool was lovely after our drive. Parking is street parking, and we found a place rather quickly a block away. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat when flying out of BCN.

Petit déjeuner correct au vu du rapport Q/P Chambre climatisée, piscine ok. Literie correcte et serviettes à disposition Mais : Personnel d’accueil extrêmement froid et hostile, ne parlant pas un mot un mot de français. (Hôtesse levant même la voix alors que nous regardions de plus près un piano ..) Propreté de la chambre à revoir! Troupeau de moutons sous le lit. Les portes donnant sur le balcon, et dans la salle de bain sont dépassées, instables et hasardeuses. Bruits en quantité le matin des 6h00.. L’hôtel se montre vieillissant aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Rapport qualité prix reste convenable pour une nuit.

We picked hotel for a two week stay based on reviews and our previous positive experience in Castelldefels. Based on our experience we would not return here on future trips; first nights we got a horrible ground floor room next to the pool entrance and meeting rooms. After complaining they “upgraded “ us the second night to a first floor, town view room. Again after expressing our disappointment given a two week stay we got another partial ocean view room. Given the hotel was not full with many rooms unoccupied, we found this a very poor business decision. Other issues we had was a very poor wifi system and some staff not very friendly.example:we walked through restaurant to exit to the beach foe two weeks and the restaurant manager(?) who set there never said hi even when we said so. After that we decided never to eat there. The front desk ladies were lovely and the housekeeping staff exceptional. The beds were very comfortably firm, the shower and bathroom amenities great , the Nescafe machine-and coffee we really enjoyed. Another strange thing we found was the bedcovers… basically a heavy sheet and no blankets. Toward the end of our stay with the chillier nights they did not provide any warmth. … i just didn’t want to complain to staff so just let it go and used a sweater to keep warm. I never imagined i was so ready to leave the place and we will never return here.

Absolutely delighted we chose these apartments for our holiday. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was immaculately clean. Nice pool area, vending and coffee machine beside pool. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. .€7 taxi ride to the busier end of the town. Its a nice leisurely walk to this busier part of the resort but we would get a taxi back at the end of the evening. Would recommend as a good base to stay.

Es un precioso hotel a pié de playa que no defrauda. La atención es excelente. Hay un paseo de 9 km en la misma puerta, ideal para caminar, correr o montar en bicicleta. Tambien pueden practic**** justo al lado kitesurf y windsurf. Las habitaciones son elegantes y muy cómodas, y las orientadas a la playa tienen auténticas vistas al mar. Hay un restaurante con una carta muy completa y arroces buenísimos. Quedamos muy agradecidos por el trato recibido, especialmente por Jaume, de Recepción. Volveremos.
