Hotel terbaik di Gerrards Cross

We had a two-night, week-end stay here while visiting friends in Gerrards Cross. Arriving quite late after a long drive down from Edinburgh, check in was prompt and friendly. The hotel is much bigger than we expected, but well laid out. There are only three floors, so the lifts are quick. Our second floor room was very clean and quite spacious, with a comfortable super-king sized bed. Other nice features - a small fridge and a safe big enough to take a laptop. The bathroom was spotless with nice complimentary shampoo and shower gel. I'd forgotten to bring my face flannel so I was pleased to see one provided. The only drawback to our room was that there was no air conditioning, and it became uncomfortably hot, with the windows opening only partway, as is usual in hotels. Helpfully, there was an electric fan which provided some relief. We popped downstairs to the bar (they have more than one) on both evenings and the bar staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good, with an extensive buffet of hot and cold items. Again, service was prompt and efficient and the young staff were professional and worked well together. We can't comment on the evening meals as we ate at our friends' house. Outside, the Bull has quite a big garden full of interest, with some nice topiary and tables set out. We had an enjoyable stroll round. The hotel itself looked well maintained, and someone with good taste has chosen a nice variety of pictures all around the hotel and along the corridors. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay in pleasant surroundings, and I would definitely recommend the Bull.

Bar jus tidak lagi dibuka di spa yang akan menjadi indah dan kakitangan bar hari kelihatan kurang riang daripada petang. Tetapi kami semua sangat membantu pasti akan membalas terima kasih

Staff are great every time my team and I stay here. Always very attentive and helpful to our large group. We stay regularly and they are always very accommodating. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The services next door are also very useful as there's lots of variety for food options.

This hotel is really cool and the staff is superb. I loved my Boujee room (leather flooring + tub especially) and the bed was absolutely perfect. I should have loved to know upfront that my particular room was across a courtyard with zero protection from the rain. But at least the Boujees are not on the street, so it was super nice and quiet. FYI there are some issues with ventilation after showering (I had to to open the door to my room) and there's nowhere to put your makeup to prevent it from getting wet when you shower. The lighting is really dim so putting on makeup here = forget about it. You need to bring your own makeup light or be prepared to open the door and do your makeup in front of the cleaners and passers-by.

I've stayed here numerous times over recent years, and it saddens me that each visit shows its ageing. It's the small things that now let it down, like showers not working properly, loo roll holders coming out of the wall, windows with gaps and plants growing inot them from the outside. Also, my score for staff was mainly due to two interactions: one receptionist, long blonde hair who was on the main desk on Sunday morning (25th). When i walked in the main doors to go through to breakfast, I said good morning and received no response. She heard ne because she looked at me, but I didn't even get a welcoming smile. The second interaction was at breakfast. On arrival, there weren't many laid tables free, so we chose to sit on a long table where the last two seats had place setting. We actually sat down, put our belongings down, to then be surrounded by staff telling us to move as the table was reserved. There was no reserved sign, and this was around 9.45am - breakfast finished at 10 am. We left around 10.15, and no one had come to the reserved table. It was very peculiar. I'm unlikely to stay again because it's coming up to autumn / winter and I really think the place needs closing for some winter restoration time.
