Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

This hotel is very clean, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. It is situated on a little harbour and we had a nice room with a harbour view. There is a restaurant attached and the food was excellent. My only issue is that it is about a 10 min drive from the airport and the taxi ride one way was 42 euros which translated to $136 Canadian dollars round trip, that was a bit of a sticker shock for a 10 min ride (20 min total).

คืนสุดท้าย มีบินตอนเช้าที่สนามบิน ห้องพักก็ดูเหมือนๆ กันค่อยๆ ขับดู ที่จอดเยอะอยู่ ถ้าไม่มีรถ ก็มี shutter airport รับส่งอยู่ อ้อ ไม่มีลิฟต์นะ แบกกระเป๋าไป ราคาตามสไตล์ ไอซ์แลนด์ ถ้าได้ไปเที่ยวอีกก็นอนซ้ำได้นะไม่ติด

AAliceOnly 5min from airport by car. Hence, location wise, perfect for travellers who are departing on very early morning flights. Hotel has free shuttle to airport between 04:30-10:30, but no shuttle service from airport to hotel,. There are no shops or restsurants nearby, only rental companies. Buffet breakfadt is really good, at the Tokio Restaurant.

PPengguna TetamuSecond time staying at Start Keflavik hostel because i had great experience there. It’s near to the airport by bus/car. Bonus / Kronan supermarket are within 30 minutes walk and along the way you get to snap some nice photos of the surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful and i had a good chat with the Chinese lady. Very spacious, cosy and clean amenities especially the recreation room, lounge and dining hall. Guests are provided with coffee, tea and other beverages at anytime. A wonderful place highly recommended for all travellers!

LLouisIt is next to the airport. I drive that's why it is really convenient for me to return the car. Aurora, volcano and snowing, all amazing view captured by my fiancée and not only make her happy but me. Anyway, staff are nice either!

PPengguna TetamuNos alojamos nuestra última noche y quedamos gratamente sorprendidos. Ambiente muy agradable, con un buen desayuno. A nuestra llegada pudimos relajarnos en el jacuzzi del exterior y disfrutamos de una conversación muy agradable con Cristina que nos recibió y nos hizo sentir como en casa. No dudaríamos en volver a alojarnos

MMei LengLocation is perfect as is just 3mins walk to airport. It would be perfect to return car the night before you catch a really early flight the next morning. It's also good that bfast is included. Only drawback is that the hotel is a bit old, but it's fine for one night stay.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaHo prenotato questa camera per trascorrere la notte vicino all'aeroporto e prendere il volo di ritorno a casa. Al nostro arrivo, il personale della reception si è dimostrato molto attento: senza che dicessimo nulla, ci hanno chiesto se desideravamo usufruire del servizio navetta per l’aeroporto il giorno successivo, che abbiamo prontamente accettato (presumo sia incluso nel prezzo). La camera assegnata era pulita e ordinata, ma alcuni dettagli lasciavano a desiderare: ad esempio, gli asciugamani presentavano fili tirati, e c'era molta polvere accumulata nelle prese di corrente, segno di una pulizia non sempre approfondita. Il bagno, pur essendo privo di finestra, si è rivelato comodo, con una doccia spaziosa e confortevole. Durante la notte, però, c'è stato un episodio spiacevole: è scattato l’allarme antincendio, probabilmente a causa di qualcuno che ha provato a fumare in camera. Il rumore è durato circa 15 minuti, finché il proprietario non è intervenuto per disattivarlo, confermando si trattasse di un falso allarme. La mattina seguente, il servizio navetta ci ha accompagnato all’aeroporto senza intoppi. Nel complesso, una sistemazione discreta e pratica per una notte di transito, ma con qualche aspetto migliorabile.
