Hotel terbaik di Takayama

It was stated after 8pm we could not check in - We arrived to Sansui around 7:30pm and were terrified no one would be there to attend us. The opposite. Upon our arrival they greeted us with big smiles on their faces, took our luggage up to the room, and even offered us green tea before heading to bed. The staff here are some of the most precious we have come across on our trip. This place is not the most modern but you feel very homey and welcomed. We found everything to be clean, only thing is you have to remember it’s in the middle of the mountains so there are bugs around. The outside public hot spring was marvelous!!!! For our fortune we came on August 6th and 7th and there happened to be a dragon festival happening right around the corner. The man who greeted us upon arrival was also at the festival and helped us get drinks to be put on our room tab because we went with out cash. Breakfast is included, a little different from American breakfast but it adds to the experience. We asked for dinner our second night, everything was so beautiful and the food just kept coming, if you are not accustomed to authentic Japanese cuisine I don’t quite recommend the dinner… it is a lovely experience if you want to try something new and different. We are absolutely amazed with the service and look forward to coming back with more family! I recommend Ryokan Sansui 100%!

I stayed at a traditional ryokan in Takayama several years ago and that was hard to top. This time, my husband and I decided to find a different property to stay in and Machiya gave us such a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Deluxe Loft room; it was spacious enough for a family of 3 adults and one young kid. The quality of the room was good and expected, but it's the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff that is highly commendable. Whenever we have questions about F&B, attractions, or even needed help with the delivery of our Rakuten order, the staff was ever so accommodating and helpful. Even my 5yo kid could feel the friendliness of the staff that he drew them a TQ card before we checked out. 10/10 recommend!

地理位置非常優越，高山站/濃飛巴士站1分鐘內就到。酒店所有員工都非常好。能英文交流又介紹地方。酒店有免費清酒供應，洗衣乾衣免費任用,早餐選擇少但很好吃，pancake和串燒非常好。房間非常大，乾淨，設備完善(煮食用具)，露營區域連投影一絕，仲可以免費睇netflix/youtube/amazon prime. 還有這次小朋友病了，前台跟清潔服務員幫助我們找醫生醫院藥店還跟我們一起幫忙翻譯，真的很感謝他們！下次還會選擇這間酒店。 The location is very strategic, Takayama Station/Nohi Bus Station can be reached within 1 minute. All hotel staff are very nice, able to communicate in English and introduce places. The hotel has free sake supply and free laundry and drying services , yummy breakfast. The room is huge, clean, and well-equipped (cooking utensils). The camping area has a projector with free netflix/youtube/amazon prime. Also, this time my child was sick, front desk and cleaning staff helped us find a clinici, hospital, and pharmacy. They also helped us translate, I really appreciate them! I will be back if coming nagoya and highly recommand to others.

Room is spacious and clean. Utensils are also great with oil, soy sauce in fridge. We were able to cook our fresh food during our stay. Walking to main old town took about 15 to 20min walk which was fine for us.

Yuu 游 is an amazing ryokan. We (family of 4) had a very nice two nights' stay there. The Japanese style breakfast (you can choose western or Japanese, but obviously Japanese style is the winner) & dinner included in the package is simply amazing! And be sure to try Takayama Sake too. It goes so well with Hida beef:) just can't get enough. To get there from Takayama JR station (bus station there too), be sure to board the bus that goes to ipposui. We didn't rent a car because we are not used to driving in snowy weather. But everyone working in Yuu is super friendly, even drives us for a short trip out... And of course, the onsen is amazing too! Unfortunately stay there!

2泊3日で利用させて頂きました。 まず楽しみだったお料理は最高の一言です。 久しぶりにあんなにお腹いっぱい食べました。 一つ一つ説明して頂けるのでこだわりを感じながら食事を楽しむ事ができました。 自家製の朴葉味噌は毎日食べたいと思うほどおいしいです。 温泉は内湯と露天の2種類あり、露天に浸かりながら見える山の景色に日々のストレスがふっと軽くなりました。 お部屋は清潔感があり居心地がよく、 眺めの良い4階のお部屋で焼岳も綺麗に見えました。 そして何よりスタッフさんのお心遣いや配慮が素晴らしく、1歳の娘との初旅行でしたが快適に過ごせました。 娘は若旦那のたじまっちょにメロメロです(^^) あいにくの雨でしたがおすすめのお店など教えて頂き散策も楽しめました。 若旦那情報はハズレ無しです！ 最高のホスピタリティで大満足の旅でした。 是非また行きたいです！ 本当にありがとうございました。

Wanosato is located next to a picturesque rock strewn river surrounded by old pine trees. The setting is quiet and relaxing with just the sound of flowing water. If you’re planning to explore Takayama you will need transportation for the short drive there. The well established ryokan has several baths available and they are all enjoyable. Our room was spacious and clean with good AC and a small refrigerator. There is a charge for non alcoholic drinks from the refrigerator which is different from other ryokans on our trip. Meals were excellent without fail and the service level is very good. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service to and from the train station. Very pleasant stay.
