Нам все очень понравилось. Хороший домашний риф, есть пляж с прекрасным песком, в бунгало есть все необходимое, сервис на высоте, все очень доброжелательные. Отличный выбор алкоголя, свежевыжатые соки, 2 ресторана по меню, вкусно, сытно разнообразно. Есть неплохой фитнес центр, прокат каное, в общем лично мне придраться можно только к тому, что в отель очень быстро летит время, хочется вернуться обратно, твёрдая 5!!!

Definetely recommend to everyone to stay. Room was wide and comfortable. Ocean is incredible with turquoise color. Staff was friendly and helpful. Many kind of food was delicious. Trip.com provided the cheapest reservation option for us. So thank you all for this lovely vacation.

We stayed here 31 Jan to 10 Feb 2025 as the Coco water residences villa 608. We had a great experience with great sunrise villa at the residences. We were greeted by Misbah our resident manager who looked after us for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he helped make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Our villa attendant was Nasir and our villa was kept clean to a high standard every day with fresh beach towels provided. He also decorated our villa for several special occasions and was pleasant to chat to. As we were at the coco residences villas we went to the Star bar most nights. The manager Gomez, was great and in our opinion made the best tasting and looking cocktails at the resort. He should teach all bar staff how to make cocktails. We are a lot in Air restaurant. We felt there was plenty of choice here with great food prepared by Linton and Aktar the grill chefs. I got a fresh Indian Dosa at breakfast most days from Aktar. Linton was always smiling and prepared eggs for my wife. Sami a manager of air always took time to greet us and enquire about our day. Two attendants Hasan and Samah were great. The worked the area by the desserts. Hasan always checking out drinks and attentive. Samah always glad to see us with a smile and helped me with some local cuisine explaining what it was. Whenever we walked about the resort all staff said hello or greeted us with a good morning/ evening and made us feel welcomed. I did an introduction to diving and my instructor from Sri Lanka made me feel safe in the water and really helped, highly recommended. Overall we had the holiday we wanted which was to relax and enjoy the island. Great reefs for ray, shark and other fish viewing at snorkelling.

This was amazing place, even despite coming in October during rainy season. Service was exceptional from the begging- person awaiting us on the airport, speed boat transfer late evening, with nice welcome and service (water/towels/wifi) We arrived late evening, so dinner packages were ready in the room. All Incl package was nice however we missed some food in between breakf-lunch and dinner. Issue is wifi which was not working properly/everywhere. Normally i think its ok as we do not need internet on such vacations, but as we needed to work one day it was hard. Again anyways. Great service. Hospitality of staff in restaurant and bar too. Also reception who gave us a chance of later checkout. It was very convenient as we travelled with 2yrs old toddler. Room was spacious, kept clean every day properly + water bottles delivered daily. Good snorkling trips for free provided daily.

We returned to visit Makunudu Island in January. It’s as charming as ever with fantastic staff . The transfer was efficient . There was a slight delay for the boat as guests were gathered. On arrival we received a wonderful greeting from staff and General Manager Mr Shaughy and were presented with a handcrafted necklace which was quite unique. Our bungalow for the 2 weeks had been upgraded with a patio area and refurbished bathroom . A great improvement with the bathroom , it appeared more spacious and newly tiled with an excellent shower . The huge bed was decorated with flowers and wine and fruit had been left for our enjoyment. Ibrahaim took care of the room and was such a joy to see each day , always laughing and smiling and checking everything was ok . The room was cleaned to a very good standard . Weather was mixed on our first week , spells of rain and a few thunderstorms which I really enjoyed! It passed and thankfully the sun returned. It was great to see our waiter from last year Lasantha , so friendly and did a wonderful job . He was on the ball with everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals . I think the standard was even better this year . Plenty to choose from , a varied menu with some creative ideas . Maldivian night was deliciously spicy, a real treat . We had the opportunity to see a Cookery demonstration which was quite expensive for what it was . It was supposed to be for an hour but was over too quickly and for $30 per person did not feel good value . We did get to sample the curry created at dinner that evening though . Fantastic to see KD and Saif at the Dive and Watersports Centre. We always have fun with these guys . Went on a few snorkel trips and were lucky enough to go out on the speedboat and see the Manta rays this year. KD took us on a Catamaran trip around the island . It wasn’t quite as windy as he would have liked ( likes to go fast apparently) but was a really pleasant trip and a chance to chat and learn a bit about life in the Maldives . Always worth a trip to the Spa , I visited a couple of time , it was bliss ! Bar guys with their eagle eyes never miss an empty glass and regularly kept us well replenished . Each one is very friendly and efficient. The only thing we would request would be more evening entertainment. We missed the Maldivian drummers and a chance to dance would have been fun 🤩. Sadly the rain did stop some of the planned activities our first week and we didn’t get the chance to experience Bonfire on the Beach night . But Movie Night on the beach was a lovely idea . We would highly recommend Angelfish as the travel agent for the Maldives . They are super professional with a few surprise treats involved which was very much appreciated. Apart from the changes in the weather patterns, Makunudu continues to get full marks from us and will always have a special place in our hearts 💕 . It’s still an authentic, friendly, peaceful, well managed island that we would definit

We had a wonderful 10 days at this resort. It was a shortish (about 55minute) speedboat transfer from the airport. We had great weather the whole time, with just a couple of overnight showers. The temperatures were lovely and it was tshirt and shorts the whole time. Everything is very informal on the island. The best thing about our break was the snorkelling around the island. We are amatuers but saw magnificent undersea vistas eveyday we were there. This included turtles most days, sharks every day (including a nurse shark and an eagle ray on one occassion), and thousands of brightly coloured fish of every size. These could be seen close in, on the reef and beyond. They were everywhere. Without getting wet, you could walk out to end of the pier in the evening and see a huge number of fish. Our room (339) was on the north side which meant it was more choppy when the wind got up. The water, at high tide, came almost upto the veranda and it was a short paddle out to the house reef straight from our room. The other side , with the dive centre, was always calm and a 2 minute walk away. The room was comfortable and well stocked every day with tea, coffee, water and towels. Monowar deserves a special mention as he was absolutely brilliant looking after us throughout the stay. His little surprise to us on our last night was really appreciated. The restaurant area is very relaxed and has a good selection of food. (Lots of curries but lots of other foods too.) We needed oat milk each day due to an intolerence and the staff provided a jug every morning which we could take back to the fridge in our room. A mention for Rayhan who looked after us most of the time providing the milk, drinks and clearing our plates. We had a few drinks in the bar. It would have been nice if lattes had been in the AI package however the tea/basic coffee was fine, along with normal alcoholic drinks. We did a couple of house trips, the line fishing and evening dolphin watching. Both were fun and well run , we caught a few fish (which they were happy to serve to us at the restaurant the next eveneing) and we saw a few dolphins for a couple of minutes on the other trip. There are plenty of other excursions available (for a price). The dive centre people are very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Elsa and Julia who were so welcoming and interesting . Elsa took us on a tour of the house reef showing us lots of interesting spots which enabled us to follow that trail several more times during our stay. This is very worthwhile and makes you feel safe. They also do a couple of quizes/presentations in the evening in the bar which we enjoyed. One of the nice things about the resort is the size. It's a very short walk to anywhere. Everyone on holiday seemed very friendly and relaxed, and we enjoyed chatting regularly with couples from Glasgow, Leeds, Ely and Bournemouth. There is a fair bit of building work going on around the island but it didn't in

The rooms have been renovated and the bathroom was excellent, but beyond that the resort is too scruffy and tired. Wherever you look in the resort there is something cracked, missing, scratched and worn. The staff are really nice but seem to be blind to decay. The food was ok but if we were staying there for ten days it would feel very limited; luckily we were only there briefly. I went diving and the experience was the same - nice, but not great. In many ways a bit of a let-down and in the Maldives standards are much higher in newer resorts regardless of price.

From start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!
