Hotel terbaik di General Luna

We recently booked 4 rooms at this hotel, and while our stay had its challenges, there were some noteworthy positives. The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, always doing their best to assist us during our stay. The pool area was also a highlight—beautifully maintained and a great spot to relax. That said, there were some areas for improvement. The rooms only had single beds, and unfortunately, the hot water wasn’t working in any of them. To make things more uncomfortable, the air conditioning were broken, which made sleeping quite difficult. Hoping for a better experience, we decided to upgrade one room to a villa. While the villa itself was lovely, we were charged ₱35,000 per night, even though the online rate was listed at ₱15,000, should be noted the AC still didn’t work. Additionally, the pricing structure for the upgrade felt confusing. Instead of being charged the difference between the original room rate (₱15,000 per night) and the villa, the hotel calculated the upgrade based on our discounted Agoda booking of ₱7,000 per night, resulting in an additional ₱28,000 per night per room. This left us feeling that the pricing wasn’t entirely fair. The restaurant was also underwhelming, as the food quality didn’t quite match the prices. WiFi connectivity was another issue, as it was inconsistent during our stay. 2 of the rooms didn’t have a TV and the room that did has 20 inch TV. Overall, this hotel is more of a 3-star experience, and there are other options in Siargao that might provide better value for the price. That said, if you do choose to stay here, booking the villas online in advance could help ensure a more seamless and enjoyable experience.

Keseluruhan bilik dan ruang tamu adalah terang, sangat tenang, tingkap besar dari lantai ke siling, lengkap, dari pembesar suara bluetooth bunyi sekeliling, dispenser air, peti sejuk, mesin kopi, semuanya tersedia, menghadap ke laut pada waktu pagi, bangun di bawah sinar matahari, duduk di ruang tamu mendengar muzik dan makan sarapan pagi (Perkhidmatan bilik disediakan) Pengalamannya hebat. Sebelum bertolak, lady boss mengaturkan saya untuk makan tengah hari di astaka tepi laut. Saya tergesa-gesa semasa mendaftar masuk. Pemilik masih mengatur dengan sangat teliti. Saya telah menginap di banyak hotel. Ini sahaja yang menghantar surat alu-aluan. Terdapat juga buah-buahan yang serius di atas pinggan. Makanan Korea di restoran lebih mudah memenuhi citarasa Cina. Menjemput saya dan rakan-rakan saya untuk menyertai makan malam barbeku mereka, daging lembu Mindanao yang dihidangkan di kedai itu terlalu berisi dan berair! Datang lagi lain kali

Buddha's is a small, almost family-like, cozy resort with approximately 10 rooms, all in generally good condition. We experienced an issue with a non-flushing toilet for about two days, which was attributed to heavy rainfall. This unexpected rainfall also prompted us to leave earlier than planned, although it did cause a two-day delay in our departure due to canceled flights. The Buddha's team is exceptionally friendly and helpful, truly top-notch, not only when it comes to surfing but also with any other requests or concerns you may have. The location, like many neighboring hotels, is not right on the beach but on the other side of the road, which can sometimes be audible. Nevertheless, you'll feel surrounded by palm trees and other lush vegetation, almost as if you're in the middle of the jungle. Dining occasionally at the resort's restaurant is worthwhile; while the menu may not be extensive, the quality of the cuisine is outstanding. However, fear not, as there are plenty of other delicious restaurants nearby to explore as well.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Apsaras for the second time, and I absolutely adore this place. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and security, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The air conditioning in the rooms is exceptional, which is particularly crucial on this island where power interruptions are frequent. Additionally, it is hassle-free to request an early or late check-out, as long as a room is available.

Kalipay was in the best location ever, yet also like a sanctuary of peace! It helped that there weren’t too many guests when we were there too (as we were just at the beginning of the season). The staff were absolutely lovely and helped us book all of our motorbikes, transfers & surf lessons. We had the reception number on WhatsApp so if our plans changed we could easily contact them to help us - honestly, it took all the faff out of the holiday and meant we could really enjoy ourselves. The room was gorgeous and so big for 2 people! Great shower, air con or a ceiling fan, super comfy bed (if you prefer a slightly harder memory foam feel) & complimentary drinking water and tea. There was also a mini fridge of snacks which you did need to pay extra for but we enjoyed this to have a sweet treat post dinner! There are great drink / dinner options within a 2 minute walk, or 5 minute motorbike ride. We would recommend CEV for amazing ceviche (we went twice) & Goodies did a great cocktail. We also ate breakfast and lunch at Kalipay once and enjoyed both meals. Thank you so much to the Kalipay team - we’d come back in a heartbeat! Emma & Ed

Very good value for money! We stayed in a very tidy room with an ensuite bathroom that has a hot shower and very good water pressure. Wifi is strong, too, and there's a shared kitchen for all the guests to use. Another thing we loved is that they're eco-conscious, so they practice and promote recycling. The owner, Raymund, was also a gem, very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Would love to stay here again if we're ever back in Siargao! 💖

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was right on the beach. Although some reviews say the beach is not that swimmable, my son and I enjoyed our late afternoon/evening swims during HIGH TIDE. The water was incredibly warm, it felt like we were in an ocean spa! The infinity pool was sizable enough to make every dip a pleasure. The staff are super wonderful! They are always happy to be of service. The on site restaurant itself served good food. Our room design & decor was very very nice. Ask for the Bamboo Room, the deluxe room facing the ocean. There was no reason to leave the hotel unless you want to go surfing at Cloud 9. The hotel is very close to Gen Luna main road if you want to explore other dining options, and to do some souvenir shopping. My only regret is I had to leave. Salamat po.
