6 night stay to visit family over holidays. Was our 4th stay at this property (closest suite hotel to family). The positives: Hotel was very clean, room was clean and everything worked. Plenty of hot water with good pressure in shower (that's important!). TVs worked fine with good channel selection. The ”not so good”: probably the worst Hilton breakfast. Have stayed at many Hampton Inns and Homestead Suites, they have similar breakfasts. I don't expect much but this one is terrible. ”Hot” food is usually cold if there is any at all (when it runs out they never seem to refill it). Breads are plain with usually only white bread and terrible ”bagels.” When they say breakfast ends at 9, they mean it- at 8:50 it's over, don't come late and expect anything! Rooms are dated- torn couch, worn carpet, some mold and peeling paint in shower/tub. Hall trash not emptied causing rotten food smells in hallways that lasted 2 days. Things to know: Closet is very shallow; there are no hooks or rack for coats in the winter; there was no room cleaning even when asked (they did swap out towels). There is no recognition of diamond status in any way (if that matters to you).

There was a photo of an indoor pool and hot tub and there wasn’t either of those. That was the main reason for my stay. Other than that the room isn’t bad for the price

I was here for a wedding and the hotel was full. I arrived at 3pm and the front desk clerk Greg said that my room was not ready. He invited me have seat in the lobby and offered me a complimentary non-alcoholic drink from their convenience store in the lobby. I told him that I am ok, but thank you. He said he would let me know when my room was ready. As he was getting off his shift, he came over to me and told me that my room was available and ready for check in. My room was spotless. Bed was really comfortable. Very Quiet even though they were full. The next morning I came down to check out and grab a quick breakfast - here is how it unfolded: Just an FYI to fellow travelers. Breakfast is not included at Courtyards unless you book a breakfast package through the Marriott website. If you are an Elite member, as Greg explained, upon check in they are offered that option or points. He was so kind and understanding that I had a long drive to Scranton that he had the kitchen staff make me a bagel with butter so I did not have to stop for breakfast. He even remembered me! That is true customer service!

I had an incredibly poor experience with this hotel that I've tried to resolve with both hotel management and Hilton Guest Assistance. Neither has resolved the issue, so I'm hoping by posting this review I can save others the troubles my boyfriend and I faced. In short, this hotel needs an upgrade both in the rooms and, more importantly, the management (Ibrahima, the General Manager, in particular). On a larger scale, Hilton customer service seems to have gone downhill, and even if my points for this stay do get refunded (which they haven't yet), my boyfriend and I don't plan on staying in a Hilton hotel again. I booked this hotel for a birthday weekend trip with my boyfriend, two rooms, two nights. We arrived at 9 PM on a Friday night. When we walked into our rooms, we immediately noticed a strong cigarette smoke smell and extreme wear on the fixtures, furniture, walls, and doors. After about an hour of trying to acclimate to the smell, we asked if we could be moved to different rooms. When we walked into the new rooms, we both noticed a strong chemical scent that immediately started to give me a migraine and extreme wear on the fixtures and furniture. After another hour of trying to acclimate to the smell, we decided to find a new hotel. We asked if our stay could be refunded, including the points I'd used to book one of the rooms. There was no night manager on duty, so the new front-desk clerk said he would need to leave a note for the General Manager to take care of the refund in the morning. My boyfriend and I then spent 45 minutes searching around Dayton looking for a new hotel. The Marriott at the University of Dayton did a great job taking care of us, and unlike the Hampton Inn, they had a night manager on duty at midnight when we checked in. Ibrahima, the General Manager of the Hampton Inn, emailed me on Saturday morning saying a refund had been processed, but mentioned nothing about the points I'd used to book the second room for our stay. I called Hilton Guest Assistance the following Monday to express my frustrations with my stay and ask for a full refund of my points used to book the stay and additional compensation for the inconvenience of having to find a new hotel. They said I would need to follow up with the GM of the hotel directly and opened a case. After several attempts to contact Ibrahima directly, I finally received an email saying the points would be refunded to my account ”shortly.” He did not answer my voicemails and email to discuss the points refund not showing in my account and possible additional compensation to cover the cost difference of the second hotel. I also spoke with Ray at the front desk, who not only wouldn't bring Ibrahima to the phone so I could speak with him, but also informed me that he doubted I would receive any additional compensation for my stay because I hadn't filled out the post-stay survey and, as he put it, ”hadn't given Hilton a chance to make things right.” I finally reached out again to

Very clean Hotel with very pleasant staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Most professional housekeeping staff I’ve ever came across. Best place to stay with family, Shower was amazing and relaxing. No disturbances and very friendly service from front desk.
