We stayed for three nights over the June bank holiday weekend as a family of five. Room had 4 beds which was perfect. Everybody in the hotel was so welcoming and friendly, special mention to Claire who looked after the pet farm and brought my children to feed the pets and Abbey and Kate in the kids club who were absolutely brilliant with the kids. It was great to have an adults break too, best of both worlds, Food was great, weather was amazing. Already planning our return trip. Thank you.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Castle Oaks House Hotel and wanted to recommend this hotel for business travellers working in the Limerick area. Beautiful hotel, and all the staff are fantastic! I met Andrea at reception, and Josephine in the restaurant, and they could not have been more helpful, professional and welcoming. Top marks for the…. room, evening meal and leisure centre (which has been completed renovated recently). Looking forward to staying there again soon.

We ended up booking here last minute as our flight was cancelled without warning. Room booked online and quickly confirmed by telephone call as everyone was in a mad dash securing overnight accommodation. On arrival, 20:30 on a Sunday evening, to be greeted by Roisin. The lovely lady had taken it upon herself to upgrade us to the junior suite. It really was the kindest thing after such a long and difficult day. The hotel itself is lovely, well kept and all staff so helpful, even the barman ( sorry forgot your name), who gave us a big jug of filtered water for our room. The purpose of our trip was a wedding in Adare, to be honest I wish we had stayed here and just hired a cab for the wedding. Even sitting outside with a drink was pleasant. High praise for hotel and staff.

Hotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time

Stella Maris is stellar… special and it’s due to the lead of the owner Rolf. The rooms are specious and charming. The sunroom is a highlight with spectacular views of the rolling sea. The food is wonderful. All this is due to the lead and tone of the owner Rolf. He is the soul of the place and is ever present to ensure your stay is wonderful… and our stay was exactly that!

We rented the family room and absolutely loved our stay here. Diedre was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It is a little out of the way, but absolutely quaint and perfect. The kids kept asking if we were staying in place like Avarest B& B during our entire trip. Diedre guided us on how to send stuff home and had great recommendations. The room and place was very clean. There were very clean toys for the kids to play with. We had a wonderful stay...make sure you have the Irish bread in the morning. It is absolutely delicious!

Getting to Doonbeg was a little out of our way, but it was well worth it. The grounds and rooms of this property were amazing. The staff was friendly wherever we went - the restaurant, the bar, the golf shop, interacting with the maids - everyone was extremely nice. This property is also in a great location to make half-day trips to the Cliffs of Moher and other coastal towns.
