Local Hotel Evicts 400 Families HOURS BEFORE Hurricane Milton Without Refunds! Extended Stay America Largo (15672 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33764) evicted 400 families, made them homeless during the storm, refused refunds, and left people unable to restart their lives. We have family that has been living at this hotel for months they were told right before the hurricane they need to evacuate. when did evacuate change to take all your belongings with you? We tried to go pick up their stuff right after the hurricane when they were told that it flooded and they could no longer stay there. We wanted to see what could be washed and saved. hotel would not let us pick up the stuff saying it was dangerous. Now they are being told that they will not get a refund on their room that they are charging them for storage. This week is already paid for. It is only Monday and they refuse to give any refund. They are only saying we’ve bagged up everyone’s belongings and it is in the hallway, but we are still charging your storage! Right after the hurricane, we were told that everything was ruined due to the flooding. Why would we want you to put it in bags and then charge us?

Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. I enjoyed myself the workers was very friendly. It was a very clean hotel, and the rooms were very clean. I enjoyed my scenery from the window, and I will come there again. My granddaughter, After lost her bunny rabbit, and the housekeeper found it underneath the bed and bought it to her. She was so happy.

Excellent service! The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. My room was cleaned everyday during my stay. I do not have a compliant about my stay. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I will definitely return and stay again. Thank you!

What makes this motel special are the staff. Kevin, the former manager and Shanece, the current manager were great leaders. Ramona has been so helpful over several ownership transitions, to make us feel personally cared about and like home, along with Corey. Rob is the maintenance man and so much more, has been so kind and helpful to so many people. The result is that the people that stay there are like good neighbors, looking out for each other.

Never again would I stay in this place. Dirty. Old. Just nasty. Refrigerator and microwave have rust in them and are old and need to be replaced. People that stay here are displaced and have no where else to go.

My clients arrived at hotel to not having room. Credit Card was on file and had reservation number and was told by assistant manger Amy that rooms are on first come first serve basis and she canceled their reservation.I will never recommend this property to anyone or book any extended stay properties again. Poor poor service.
