Coimbra Vintage Lofts Apartments

The staff at the Oslo hotel which handles the check in and checkout process are super friendly and helpful. They allowed us to go up to their Terrace for the best view of historic center. We had a problem with room key code but they sent staff to fix it for us. The location is great and close to all major sites. The couch in living area is dated. Only stayed 1 night so we didn’t use the kitchenette which appears to be nicely equipped. The only downside is we had luggage so climbing the flight of stairs was tough. On departure, the cleaning staff offered to help carry luggage down the flight of stairs. They allowed us to keep luggage at hotel after checkout until we were ready to leave.

When we arrived, we were very well received by the friendly staff at Hotel Oslo, which is really just a few meters from Coimbra Vintage Lofts. Mr Jose came to receive us and offered a bigger and complete apartment paying nothing more and we don't understand why but as he insisted and we accepted. We think that the guest of the apartment we booked could have extended the stay. It doesn't matter, We asked to leave our luggage and went to lunch. On the way back, a guy from the team took our bags and showed us everything. Apartment six is ​​spacious, nice, but very cold, I had to ask for an extra heater for the room. The windows of all rooms face an internal courtyard shared with other apartments, where people go to smoke. So you can't even open the windows. I missed a window to the street. The bathroom has a sewage smell and was very cold. The kitchen is spacious but very cold and the wine opener is very bad. The smell in the bathroom needs to be resolved as it makes the stay bad, it should be something easy to resolve. The location is excellent, the street is very friendly, close to markets, the train station and the bus station, it has a pharmacy and restaurants very close by and it is in a very pleasant place. I would stay there again but not in this accommodation because despite being beautiful and large it is very cold, maybe it would be interesting to put heaters in all environments. The Oslo staff is very nice and friendly and the cleanliness is also very good. Quando chegámos, fomos muito bem recebidos pela simpática equipa do Hotel Oslo, que fica mesmo a poucos metros do Coimbra Vintage Lofts. O Sr José veio nos receber e ofereceu um apartamento maior e completo não pagando mais nada e não entendemos porque mas como ele insistiu e nós aceitamos. Achamos que o hóspede do apartamento que reservamos poderia ter prolongado a estadia. Não importa, Pedimos para deixar nossa bagagem e fomos almoçar. Na volta, um cara da equipe pegou nossas malas e nos mostrou tudo. O apartamento seis é espaçoso, agradável, mas muito frio, tive que pedir um aquecedor extra para o quarto. As janelas de todos os quartos dão para um pátio interno compartilhado com outros apartamentos, onde as pessoas vão fumar. Então você não pode nem abrir as janelas. Perdi uma janela para a rua. O banheiro tem cheiro de esgoto e estava muito frio. A cozinha é espaçosa mas muito fria e o abridor de vinho é muito ruim. O cheiro no banheiro precisa ser resolvido, pois dificulta a estadia, deve ser algo fácil de resolver. A localização é excelente, a rua é muito simpática, perto de mercados, estação de trem e rodoviária, tem farmácia e restaurantes bem próximos e fica em um lugar muito agradável. Ficaria lá novamente mas não neste alojamento pois apesar de ser lindo e grande é muito frio, talvez fosse interessante colocar aquecedores em todos os ambientes. A equipe de Oslo é muito simpática e amigável e a limpeza também é muito boa.
