Hemos estado una noche y ha sido una estancia muy agradable. Para empezar hicimos la reserva a través de Booking, pero por motivos personales tuvimos que adelantar la estancia una noche, lo comentamos y no hubo ningún problema ni tampoco un coste adicional. La comunicación en todo momento muy bien, vía WhatsApp indicando como entrar y acceder al alojamiento. La habitación es más amplia de lo esperado, muy limpia y renovada. Nos ha gustado mucho. A parte hay una zona comunitaria con cocina y terraza donde incluso puedes utilizar todos los productos y comida que dejan. Lo único malo que diría es que no tiene ascensor y si estás en la tercera planta como nosotros es un poco incomodo subir y bajar las maletas.

Beautiful historic hotel, comfy rooms, clean, quiet, fast hot water, loved the elevator, perfect location, nice breakfast, delicious coffee. The highlight was how helpful Louisa was with our confusing issue with the trains going on strike. She immediately researched our journey and found us solutions. I was amazing and will be forever grateful! From the moment I explained our predicament she went above and beyond to help us. The hotel alone was fabulous but Louisa is the diamond in this palace!

Avendo prenotato molti mesi prima su *********** ,abbiamo spuntato un prezzo veramente super. Buon hotel 4 stelle ai piedi della città alta di Coimbra, ma comunque a non più di 10 minuti a piedi dall'università. Buona possibilità di parcheggio auto. Struttura gradevole con camera funzionale e buon bagno e doccia. Personale sorridente e disponibile. Colazione buona per la categoria. Ottima la comodità del letto. Piccolo appunto...vista la categoria dell'hotel...se l'orario d'inizio della colazione è alle 7......deve essere alla 7 ..non mi piace che arrivo e manca questo e quello e l'addetta sta facendo le pulizie o altro....va bene ..magari per categorie inferiori ma non da un hotel 4 stelle e di buona fama !

We were very happy with our two-night stay in Studio no. 12, which was spacious, tastefully appointed and had everything we needed. The host/manager Ricardo was very solicitous, regularly checking that we were satisfied and asking whether we needed anything. Our only real bone of contention had less to do with Sophia Studios and more to do with the location, with noise from the [busy] street outside and nightclubs and the like penetrating the fully closed windows and shutters. That aside, the location is excellent, within walking distance of everything you'll want to see.

I absolutely loved staying at this place. All the staff were friendly, efficient and professional making for a very enjoyable couple of days. The entire experience was relaxing from the check in, the paperwork was done whilst I drank the offered beer, the introduction to my room by the guy on the check in desk to the evenings spent on the terrace - my glass was kept topped up by waiters who were careful to check if I wanted a refill without being tiresome or intrusive. I also enjoyed the modern Italian restaurant, the food was great and the service was, once again, fantastic. The rooms were very interesting, comfortable and with air conditioning that worked very well (that should be a given in any hotel but often is not). The hotel refers to them as 'cubicles' but I don't think that does them justice, they are beautiful, under ground, wood lined cabins.
