Excellent location opposite the cathedral and very close to the main station. I had a single room on the top floor that had a balcony with an amazing view. Only negatives were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the reception staff downstairs were not particularly smiley or welcoming. I hadn’t paid for breakfast in advance but they should still have mentioned it to me as an option when I checked in.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. Perfect location, the rooms are a bit small though. Didn't like that the room's door is practically near the bed.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for business in May. The hotel is pretty new - I think less than 2 years old. The rooms are quite big, with full kitchen amenities (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, full set of glasses. The surprise was there was no kitchen roll for cleaning - all the apartments of these types of hotels have some cleaning paper. The location is very close to Koln Messe Deutz station, and we made easy travel arrangements by train to the Dusseldorf fair. The room is clean, the windows are opening (a big plus), and the façade is quite modern. The hotel is quiet, especially since my room faced the open courtyard, which was super quiet, even sleeping with open windows. Breakfast is OK, nothing spectacular, and I think a bit overpriced for the 23 EUR per person. The only problems we had were with sporadic services and some items in the room malfunctions: I had electricity problems with the power supply (caused by a defect in the dishwashing machine which could not be switched off - The fuse went off). I had a problem with the telephone. For every problem, I had to drag to the reception (unable to talk on the phone). The coffee in the room was delivered in the first few days, the next 2 days, and there was no new coffee pack (to make your French press). One day I did not have big towels delivered (the housekeeping did not replace the used towels on the bathroom floor, and I had to go to the reception to ask for them. I would give that hotel 3 stars, but the best surprise was the super fast internet connection (free). We had 200 MB/sec, perfect for surfing and streaming.

Die Lage ist gut, zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten zum Dom, in einer einigermaßen ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet aber klein. Hier sind wohl einige Häuser zusammengefügt worden, es wird deswegen wohl Unterschiede in der Größe der Zimmer geben. Schöne und große Auswahl zum Frühstück, welches auf der Website für einen unschlagbaren Preis inkludiert war. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr vorhanden, zu breit sollte das Auto dafür nicht sein. Check In und Out hat wunderbar funktioniert.

It was a very modern and clean stay. The room was nice and soundproof when the windows were closed. The bed was not the most comfortable bed for a hotel and a little noisy as if there was a plastic wrapping. So every time there was movement it would wake the other person up. But overall would recommend giving it a try! We are light sleepers and it might have been just the mattress in our room.

I had a very positive experience at Moxy Mülheim Köln Hotel. The room comfort was excellent, with a comfortable bed and modern decoration. The lobby area was also very nice and had a spacious atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable, always finding solutions promptly whenever we had any issues. The drinks served at the bar, especially the cocktails, were really good. The only thing I think could be improved is the breakfast variety, as I believe it could have more options. Overall, I had a delightful time at Moxy Mülheim Köln Hotel and will definitely come back. Thank you.
