Ulasan Kommerzhotel Köln

The hotel located just right beside the train station. The room was ok but the bathroom stinks. We stayed one night together with my family from Malaysia and my newly wedded German husband. Maybe because of security concerns, the night shift receptionist was asking my husband to tell him our room number, booking under whose name and show him the room key after he went down to smoke outside the hotel. My husband felt uncomfortable by the way he questioned.

Location and upkeep of the room are fantastic. Certainly a great choice if commuting in and out Cologne by train. However the customer service at the reception was horrible. He was unwelcoming and unhelpful. We arrived exactly at 3pm for check-in and were told the room is not available and needed to wait 30min, then we saw a small waiting group forming and when the other guests asked the other check-in receptionist, he said it's ok to check-in. Normally when the room isn't available, you would still process the check-in first but the first officer just brushed us off. Then we asked if there is a toilet and were told it's on 2nd floor but when my mom went up it's locked. So they made my old folks wait and not able to go toilet. Overall reception experience was just unfriendly and unhelpful but we were only staying a night so it's still a good choice for us for the convenience.

Just near the main station, they have a luggage storage but the staff was not friendly.

Reasonable price.Very close to central station. My room was opposite side of the station that was not so loud.

Hotel by the main train station, room was newly renovated, clean and quite spacious! No fridge in the room and no WiFi, but I didn't need it, so I wasn't bothered by it!

It's my 2nd time to stay in this hotel, good and happy. I don't know why they still using "real key" for opening room door, it would be better if they changed to use E-card as a key.

It’s really easy to get here, just in front of the station. The point is they don’t have air conditioning, so I need to bear with hot and humid night. However regarding the price, it was nice stay after all.

Mega convenient location for late train arrivals, great view from the window.

I can’t believe that this hotel doesn’t have air conditioner although it’s very good location,it’s very hot when it’s summer also there was construction process during morning it was literally annoying and noisy

Great location, however a bit noisy at night due to proximity to train station. Our room didn’t include a kettle but it was easy to borrow one from the reception desk.

In general quite nice! Very convenient location and easy to access everywhere.
