"I had a wonderful stay at CityClass Hotel am Dom. The location truly could not be better — it is just steps away from the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, and the views from the room were absolutely fantastic. Waking up to a direct view of the cathedral was a highlight of the trip. The hotel is also surrounded by plenty of food options, from traditional German restaurants to international cuisine, all within easy walking distance. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient, especially in the evenings. Furthermore, it is just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, an excellent choice for anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Cologne with unbeatable views and dining options nearby. I would definitely stay here again."

"The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. The room was large with ample furniture (larger bed than usual, built-in suitcase stand, full desk, armchair) and the decor a palimpsest of older furniture zhuzhed up with wall coverings, a decorative vase, floor lights in addition to bedside table lamps and desk light, etc. There was even a kettle to make tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was much appreciated! The bed was on the soft side and the pillows rather thin and fluffy, which was not quite to my liking. However, the blackout curtains and well-insulated windows made for a quiet night's sleep, despite the roads and building sites outside. It was still possible to open one window to let fresh air in. All in all, a very good experience."

"Quite disappointed with the stay. We paid extra for the Kind Aqua Deluxe room because of the room photo showing the window with arcs, but we were assigned the normal window view. By cancelling the housekeeping, you were only given 1 cocktail per room, instead of other hotel chains where 2 drinks were given. The hotel has already save housekeeping cost, but only one drink were given as they hope the 2nd guest will spend on the drink. It will be more hospitable if 2 drinks were given or based on number of guest."

"Location is good - 30 seconds to u-bahn station, 10 mins from big deutsche bahn/s-bahn station (not the main station though). a bit far away from restaurants, but if you walk 10 mins, you will be there. We have not taken breakfast, cause it was too pricey (30EUR per person) and used the restaurants nearby instead. Also, spa is available for the reduced price of 6 EUR per person incl. some amenities, but we have not used this due to lack of time"
