I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay. One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.

Extend my stay for 2 days an as usual breakfast is good room cleaning is good an transport is easy avail.becarefual for over charge from hotel looby 3 wheeler scooter they charge about 10000 ruppees if you took the hotel car which is ex*****ive where u can get 6000 ruppees if you book from the app pick me

I love this hotel I started my Sri Lanka trip here and rebooked on my return to Colombo. Great hotel, great prices, super clean, comfy bed, wonderful food, amazing pool and great staff hopefully I get to go back one day!!😀

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This property is gorgeous with the old world charm and the food and cocktails are amazing too . But above all, they ace in hospitality. The staff , right from GM to everyone else are so warm, courteous and helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.I had a ligament tear in my ankle while in Srilanka and be it GM Mr. Siddique , Mr. Emmanuel, the bell boy Mr. Sujith, and the rest of the staff , they were all so supportive and caring that I was totally moved by the way they took care of me. Strongly recommend this place with its beautiful people to all and I will surely be staying here again when I visit Srilanka

Great location. The rooms were big and neat. The restaurants were ok, the breakfast buffet was disappointing.

Great service! Nice view (Even though the construction site is seen a lot), but from the bed, it was amazing as we could see only blue sky & blue ocean side only. I didn't ask birthday cake for my wife but when we checked in, it took a bit while as the manager seemed to be a bit busy to handle our check-in and he went back and forth to check something. When we went up to the room, we found there were nice cake says ”Congratulations” and it was so touched and nice. Also as we could enjoy late check-out, we had a very good rest during the weekend. The bed is so comfy enough to pass out all night and room was clean and well managed. But above all, nothing can beat the beautiful view from the room. We definitely visit this hotel again.

We have stayed at the Mount Lavinia many times over 25 years and they never fail to please. The staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help. The food and restaurants cannot be faulted in anyway. The range of different food on offer each day is amazing and always so fresh. The hotel offers a wonderful colonial feel combined with modern times. Rooms are maintained to a very high standard This is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you must go to Mr Thissa Lal, Endra, Dimuthu, Ifan Mackie and Aruni for their professionalism and kindness. It is not possible to name all those people that make this hotel so special but from the Front Door men through the whole hotel you never fail to do an excellent job and are fantastic ambassadors for the Mount Lavinia. OK Folks once upon time this used to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. That was decades ago, this is one of the very few Sri lankan government owned hotel today. This is not so luxurious to match a five star, but a pretty good hotel which fits in well for a three star. There are glitches here and there, it's an old building, you might find the hot water not working or a broken switch, pardon that, the hotel is working very hard to fix those with the little financial resources they have. The staff of the hotel are very kind and hard working. If you request them for something, they will not hesitate to try there best to satisfy your needs. The hotel has undergone a renovation recently and working hard to maintain a good menu of food. Again people are good and hard working but with the financial resources they have, there are limitations. Overall its a good 3 star hotel with a decent menu of food and really polite people. Help them by reserving your rooms with this little place which has a big history, the more guest who visit this place, the more money they get, so they can serve you better the next time your arrive. Be kind when making your reviews, try to look through the eyes of good people here who are trying to make your stay the best ever. Let encourage more people to use thus hotel so they can soon start to cater you with five star perfection.

The staffs in hotel are extremely thoughtful and nice. The breakfast is fantastic. You can enjoy mupltile country food here. The room is very clean. The hotel is near galla face beach. very beautiful view.
