"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing excellent hospitality throughout my visit. The room itself was in premium condition—clean, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished. One of the highlights was the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the Indian Ocean, perfect for relaxing or sunsets. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, with easy access to most of the main attractions in the area. Highly recommended for both comfort and convenience!"

We took one hour from the airport.

"Located at the most central avenue of Colombo has very nice view to the Indian Ocean, particularly from the rooftop garden and swimming pool, which probably is the largest in Asia. I was in this garden in 2018 and now is like a roof forest. The gym is well equipped and with panoramic view. The hotel is at the top of the mall, the dream of my wife. Every hour there was a shuttle to a tropical beach just outside Colombo. We did also the complementary half day tour to the city that was well organized. Excellent service and comfort."

Queen Bedroom was spacious and fairly clean. Basic amenities provided, but you’ll need to request a hair dryer and iron (no ironing board). My TV didn’t work, but aircond was cold.
Overall, a solid and convenient stay for exploring Colombo."

NNipunikaI recently booked a room at this hotel for my parents, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their experience. From the moment they arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents were comfortable and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding.
The room was booked for one night and included breakfast the following morning, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel also has a restaurant where guests can purchase extra meals at any time, which was very convenient.
The availability of a car park made their stay even more hassle-free. My parents were very satisfied with every aspect of their visit, and I’m grateful to the hotel crew for making their stay so enjoyable.

CCJ12A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen.
We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed.
Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel.
All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved our stay here, we had a free upgrade to one of the newer rooms on check in the service is fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent with so many options, dinner in Mambos is a must to enjoy good food, the live music and dancing. And our personal favourite was the Traveler’s bar, the staff are extremely attentive and the views and atmosphere are spectacular.

IIain MoreA great location and quite comfortable rooms - very soft bed and pillows and good shower.The room (404) is quite dark and has a large painted concrete wall along one side which is very ugly. No curtain or anything to screen it as shown in the booking picture. The room was also advertised as Bay View - not sure why as the small window looked straight into the neighbours' apartment block - no privacy. When I asked about it the staff member said ' but we have no bay views.' False advertising - see photo of room booking. Breakfast was ok but the hot food was only lukewarm at best. Coffee was excellent. Overall the location made it a good place to stay - the street was lively with a couple of fun bars, the very good Ministry of Crab restaurant, street art and music.

SSana KThe hotel is clean and 15 minutes to the train station. But the SERVICE here is the worst. My room was opposite the restaurant. In the restaurant they sing every day until the morning. I felt like I was at a concert in the front row. The noise of drums and electric guitar did not let me sleep. I called the reception, they said they would call me, but they didn’t it.The next day, after check out. They didn’t apologize and didn’t even say goodbye. Cause they didn’t care, since my reservation had already ended. I really regretted staying there. It does not even pull 3 stars
