We would like to say that this is one of those diamonds in the rough. Wonderful hotel even though the area doesn't seem like the best. We had a fantastic sized room with a great scenic view. Hotel itself is close to I25 and Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, and other scenic areas. Besides the nice sized room, the staff at this hotel are great. We especially would like to acknowledge, De'Andre, a front desk staff member, who was just so helpful to us. He helped us with directions to our tours a couple of times, and also directed us towards restaurants in the area. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with the coolest pancake making machine. The kitchen staff also deserves acknowledgement, because they work very hard, too. We really liked the pool area, too, but one slight complaint there...that the pool could be a little warmer. Thanks for a great visit to Colorado Springs.

I am been on a road trip for two weeks. This is the best place and only hotel I am writing a review. The pool is great! Clean and refreshing! Breakfast is great too. Much better than other choice hotels. The location is perfect. Walking distance to some restaurants. Not far from the interstate 25. Easy to drive to the downtown locations!

The Man at the front desk Mr Lee was the most off the wall person i ever met. My 2 adult sons and were passing through Manitou Springs a week ago. August 1 st to be exact. WE stopped at a few hotels to ask for 2 room”s or 3 beds but most were sold out . Then we got to the Manitou Springs Econo lodge. I walked into the lobby and asked Mr,Lee for 2 rooms or 3 beds, this created mass confusion . Mr Lee could not understand the request. so i explained to him that there were 3 adult men looking for 1 bed each did he have 1 room with 3 beds or 2 rooms? Me Lee said ,I only have a King smoking room left. Because we were concerned about finding room's i told him we would take it . Mr Lee asked me if i smoked i replier no but one of my sone does so i will give the room to him and go next door for another room . Mr Lee got mad and said I DON'T WANT THREE MEN IN THAT ROOM. AND BESIDES YOUR NOT A SMOKER.so i explained again that my son was a smoker and he could have the room by himself and my other son and i would find another room at another hotel near by. Once again Mr Lee got upset and said NO I DON'T WANT 3 MEN IN THAT ROOM! I reassured Mr Lee that we were not going to have 3 men in the room and we would find another room elsewhere . Mr Lee became angry and said YOUR NOT A SMOKER YOUR NOT GETTING THE ROOM.I asked to see the manager and Mr Lee said YOU ARE TOO AGRESSIVE I WANT YOU TO LEAVE , YOUR NOT GETTING THE ROOM! So i asked for the manager once again and Mr Lee told me he was the owner and handed me a business card the said he was the manager. so i pointed out that his business card said Manager not owner and Mr Lee said SOME TIMES IM THE OWNER AND SOMETIMES IM THE MANAGER! so now im sure this guy is stoned . We are in Colorado and the dispensary is right next door . So i asked sir How high are you right now and it all went down hill from there

I was set to be happy here- this is the third time I've stayed during a nearby conference, and they've renovated, and the rooms look great. But these days more than ever, high-speed internet is a necessity, not a luxury for work. It's 11/5; the front desk says there has been a ”nationwide outage” of high-speed internet at all Marriotts since 10/15 (there isn't. There probably is a problem with their ISP, but not what the front desk seems to believe). The ”regular” internet doesn't even pull 1 mbps consistently. There's nothing they can do, and now I'm faced with either having to cancel work meetings because I can't get a decent connection or check out and risk not having them refund me the rest of my stay and go find somewhere else with internet. I know that they can't help how the ISP runs, but they had the power to warn guests ahead of time and offer the option to back out of the reservation and stay somewhere else.

I have stayed here a few times the first time it was for two nights. It was great! I loved my room I have now problems with anything. I then came back a month later to stay as a weekly until I could find work in the area and move to another place. It was wonderful I enjoyed it and the owners were awesome to me they are very nice people who care about their costumers. Then I came back due to a lose of my job on the other side of Colorado springs. So far it's been good to be back and the other even picked me up so that I didn't have to pay for a cab. This is In my opinion one of the best places to stay in Colorado period. And I have been to hotel's that are not as nice as this Motel is here in Colorado springs. Today I'm enjoying myself in my room just doing art and eating good food from a nearby restaurant Low Mai it's a great location if you like good food you can just walk to so many different places around the downtown area here or have them delivered in like five minutes due to the proximity. All in all I absolutely love this place! That's right I Love the Travelers uptown motel it a wonderful place to stay! ~Jill~ 2021-12-28.
