"It’s my first time staying in a serviced apartment, as I usually stay in hotels when visiting Seoul. I wasn’t quite used to the check-in process, so I felt a bit anxious when I arrived at midnight. At first, the driver couldn’t locate the entrance, and it took us about five minutes to figure it out.
After that, I couldn’t find any reception at Block B. I pressed the keypad on the intercom machine, but no one responded. I then tried to look for Block A and, in the process, mistakenly ignored the self check-in booth. Eventually, I called the number on the door, and thankfully, a staff member appeared and helped me out. I wonder why Trip.com didn’t include a reminder about the check-in process—it would’ve been helpful.
As for the room, I found it warm and impressively high-tech for someone like me from Hong Kong! I especially liked the clothes-drying machine. However, I did notice a few small issues:
1. There was no universal 220V socket, so I had to buy a local charger (I know other places like L7 Gangnam provide one).
2. You had to place the waste by yourself at block a.
3. The bathroom drain was slightly clogged.
Regarding the city view, I paid a bit extra for it but found it was facing a construction site.
That said, I’m not complaining—I just wanted to share my experience. I think the overall stay was fine, and now that I know how the process works, if I stay there again next time, I’m sure it will be much easier and more seamless."
