During this trip to Seoul, I stayed in several different hotels, and this was by far the most satisfying one. First of all, the location is excellent, it’s less than a five-minute walk from Sinchon Station. The area around Sinchon has plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining. Hongdae is only one stop away by underground, and it’s also very easy to get to places like Euljiro (Myeongdong) and Yeongdeungpo. Secondly, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. As the hotel hasn’t been open for very long, everything still feels brand new, and the appliances are all very modern and smart. Since I wasn’t sure when I’d be leaving Seoul, I made separate bookings and ended up trying several different room types. The standard room came with a clothes dryer, which was incredibly convenient, and almost every room I stayed in was wonderfully quiet. You could also clearly see that the staff cleaned the hotel every day — even after staying for quite a while, I never noticed any obvious stains or dirt. The amenities provided were also impressively complete: toiletries, slippers, toothbrushes, disposable towels, face masks, and even cotton pads, cotton buds and hair ties. In addition, the hotel’s washing machine and dryer were excellent, as they were much cheaper than using an outside laundrette and didn’t shrink my clothes either. There’s also a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby, as well as free ice available whenever you want it. Even the hotel’s signature scent in the lobby smelled lovely and made the whole place feel very cosy and relaxing. Most importantly, every member of staff I met was genuinely kind and helpful. They were patient when assisting guests, and on rainy days they even prepared plenty of umbrellas for everyone to borrow. One thing to note is that check-in starts at 10 pm. Since most people are used to hotels allowing check-in in the afternoon, it’s something that could easily be overlooked when booking. Personally, it didn’t affect me at all because I usually hung out until late anyway, and I could simply leave my luggage at the hotel beforehand.

Generally great place to stay based on location and cleanliness has basic microwave, hangang river ramen cooking facilities. Host also provided bread, jam, coffee, tea etc has luggage storage area - though would be ideal to mention that it is outside of the hostel in the lobby area on the floor (definitely need to make sure your luggage is zip-locked as it can be assess by public who knows about it. Would be nicer to clarify that and also the need for a passcode for to lock it to a hanger shelf so your luggage can't be stolen whole (especially for early luggage drop off) Host also provided washer & dryer and also laundry detergent - really useful to pack light for more shopping Wished the room was bigger as was difficuly to open my luggage in the room without the wall or the bed obstructing it

Seoul Vamos Hotel is the best hotel I ever stayed. The room is beautiful, cozy and is very comfortable. They have beautiful small lobby on 1st floor with a water dispenser, coffee machine, tea bags, microwave and food utensils. It provides proper necessities to its guests and is really very convenient. For me, having good necessities is more than important. To travel around, I would say taking public transport is very convenient as there are bus stop conveniently located nearby the hotel or taking Uber, Kakao Taxi and Tmoney-Onda, therefore traveling around seoul is seamlessly connected from this hotel. Not to mentioned, they have big shopping mall nearby like the ”Shinsegae Department Store times square branch” and there are convenient stores too like ”Nice to CU”. In addition, I would also say my experience with the hotel's staff is amazing, they are friendly and helpful towards their guests. I really love the hotel top-notch service. In terms of communication with the staff, I have no issue communicating with the staff. I really miss my stay in Seoul Vamos Hotel. I will definitely stay here again in Seoul Vamos Hotel. 100% recommended. To anyone visiting Seoul, do check out this hotel!!

Great hotel in a convenient location. It is close to many tourist attractions and has easy access to public transportation. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food at any time. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Not expensive and a good hotel, 30+ minutes from the center of Seoul, a quiet area with everything you need, and several laundries nearby. The service is good, the beds are comfortable, there is a TV, and panoramic windows overlooking the city. Lots of eateries and cafes nearby, shopping center.

I had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the dedicated female area requires a secure code to enter, which made me feel very safe as a solo woman.However, the room comfort was quite poor. I was assigned a top bunk bed, and the room was incredibly hot because the air conditioning had been turned off.The bathroom facilities are located outside of the room and consist of a universal toilet. While the shower itself was okay, the towel provided was tiny and looked like it had already been used.While the security for women is great, the hot room and poor linen quality mean I would likely look elsewhere next time.

I stayed for the whole week at this hotel. It is a nice small hotel that just 1 station away from Gangnam. Room is cleaned well everyday in the morning, they provide extra water and amenities at the 1st floor so it is nice. Internet speed is very fast and you have smart TV inside your room.

It's only two minutes' walk from the nearest station and has excellent access. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel, and there are 24-hour restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. A refrigerator, dryer, and smartphone charger are provided in the room.(i-phone&type-c only) If there is no staff at the front desk when you check in, you will need to obtain your room number using sns. As others have written, the cleaning situation leaves room for improvement. However, you will be able to stay at a very reasonable price, so I think it would be a good idea to bring slippers and other things to make up for the parts of the floor that are not well cleaned.
