Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

I have just returned from a wonderful 2 night Stay in the Garryvoe Hotel. Myself and 3 friends went off for a 2 night stay and didn’t want to travel too far and picked this Hotel. Unusually for me, I didn’t put in any research, but was blown away but all the facilities and the Hotel in general. Our rooms for starters were just lovely. Huge rooms with beautifully fresh quality linen on the beds. Spacious bathroom and lovely balcony with view of the Sea. Impressive Coffee maker in the room which was replenished daily, plus fresh water. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and lap pool and also visited the Steam, Sauna and hot tub. All these facilities were first class. Must mention, we all asked for robes and they were delivered pronto to our rooms. We enjoyed lunch when we arrived and Dinner that evening. The Menu was excellent and so was the quality of the food. Breakfast was so good, starting with a buffet for fresh fruit salad, cereals and pastries. Lovely hot menu including Excellent Creamy Porridge, Eggs Benedict and fresh fish, all freshly made to order which was quite evident. I have to comment on the Staff in the Restaurant who were so welcoming and really just lovely, they reminded me of what Irish Hospitality used to be famed for. Garryvoe is a beautiful Hotel inside and extremely relaxing. It has the benefits of the beach on its doorstep and Ballycotton and Ballymaloe about 10 mins away as other attractions. I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough and will definitely be back.

Just had my sons wedding at the Address in Cork city. Thank you to the most amazing friendly staff for providing us with a wonderful day. The service, the rooms, and the wedding venue was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely not just because of the people but also because of the rich historical vibe and character of the hotel itself. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The whole day went like clockwork and everyone who attended the day felt like a wonderful memory was made. I would not hesitate in recommending this hidden jewel of a hotel to anyone wanting to have a special stylish day.

Booked for one night, staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean , shaver plug did not work and the bathroom sink tap wouldn’t stay turned on, unless open at its fullest and then water spilled out onto the floor. Recently stayed here with my niece. The experience was brilliant from the get go from arriving at reception and greeted by Kevin Nelligan who was very pleasant and friendly. He was very helpful in providing us with the necessary needs when having a toddler stay in the hotel. When went up to the room was a lovely spacious room with a lovely view of the river. The following morning went down for breakfast and were met by the pleasant Chloe Leahy who was very nice and pleasant made it as easy an experience as possible when dining with a toddler

On the positive side, the hotel is easy to reach from the airport, the rooms are large and beds comfortable. The breakfasts are generally of a good standard with a interesting selection. We were able to park easily. Staff friendly and helpful. The areas for us that could have been improved would include the breakfast system for having eggs cooked freshly, as most people abandoned the idea when being told there were many orders waiting to be cooked, so there would be a fair wait. Our room faced West, so by the end of a hot summer’s day, the room was also well warmed! The aircon setting of 19 degrees was hopeless in bringing the temperature down quickly and effectively, and the window only opened a tiny bit. We are still waiting for someone to explain to us why hotels still have winter weight quilts on beds in the summer…we seem to spend more time sleeping on them than under them!!!! Unfortunately this hotel is probably not an option for those on a limited budget.

Morning coffee in Perch Cafe Beautiful selection of foods, lovey ambience in the hotel and cafe. We just called in on spec, the staff could not be more helpful, wonderful experience, the staff checked back with us to see if everything was okay. Highly recommend a visit for tea or lunch..

Today, I spent a few hours at the Spa, Hatfield Manor. A Christmas present to myself. It was truly special. The staff were pleasant and the space was spotless. I must mention my Therapist, Karen. She is refined, professional, mannerly and brilliant at her job as a Facialist. Well done to the Spa Team.

WWildGooseGreat hotel with fantastic views of the city, while being close enough to be within walking distance of all the cities amenities. The staff were always at hand to help with any requests, and were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay there. The bar and restaurant are a great place to relax and meet friends, and serve a wide array of great quality food and drinks, with lovely outdoor seating to take in the city views.

From the moment I stepped in the front door I was greeted with charming & friendly staff. The décor is so beautiful and inviting. I had the pleasure of being served some tantalising cocktails in the rooftop bar by a handsome young man named Oscar. His spicy margarita was nearly as hot as him. The bedroom was stunning as we had a corner sweet and I slept like a baby. Will definitely return!

PPengguna TetamuThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you).The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.

The only problem I could find with the hotel was the breakfast, I had a full irish breakfast every morning at a few different times and it was always too dry. I think the hotel must prepare many, keep them under heat lamps and then just add a freshly cooked egg when they are ordered.

NNomad52723409364Our room was comfortable. It was a good size, modern decor, and modern bathroom fixtures with a large tiled shower stall. The hotel had 2 elevators. activated by room keys. This hotel chain prefers jars of Body Wash to soap. Not having an iphone, I appreciated using the computer in their business room to do emails. There isn't really a lobby area at the entrance, but the cocktail and bar lounge, connected to a small dining area, serve as sitting areas when waiting for others. We arrived tired from a day of travel so we were delighted to eat in the hotel's dining room for an evening meal rather than go exploring for a restaurant. The prices for evening meals in the hotel cafe were reasonable with a discount offered on 2 and 3 courses. The Bacon and Chicken Salad (15E) I ordered was delicious and dinner size, and desserts like Eton Mess were around 6.75E. During the day, the hotel has a coffee shop (scones 3E) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Could take away the pastries and enjoy them in the room where coffee and tea and kettle were free to use. No bakery shop was nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the English Market (a bakery counter here) and shopping streets like St. Patrick's Street. For us, it was a good choice for an overnight stay with Insight coach tours.

PPengguna TetamuI got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

This is supposedly a three star hotel, but I have stayed in much better two stars. The location is good and the view of the river is nice, but it is very scruffy and grubby in areas. The room was a reasonable size, but the bed did not feel very comfortable. We had a nice view, but it was quite noisy as we could hear voices quite a lot from possibly the room next door. The bathroom size was okay, but there was nowhere to put wash bags or toiletries. I had to put them in the shelving unit outside of the bathroom. The shower was over the bath. The tiling on the walls looks like it has been done quite recently but the grouting all along the edge of the bath is in a very bad way and needs attention. There was also a large greasy hand mark on the wall above the bed that was easily visible in certain light. The bedroom was not serviced on the day in between our two nights there. We don’t mind this but we weren’t told so we weren’t quite sure whether it was going to happen or not. The bins did get rather full. There was no decaf coffee available for the room even though it is available at breakfast. This was the first hotel in 10 on this holiday that we have not been able to get it. The public areas are very, scruffy and grubby looking. All it was take on stairs would be a coat of paint on the banisters and some repair work to the wooden knob at the bottom and that would help. The carpets looked quite dirty as well. See photos. Breakfast was reasonable and there was quite a bit of choice. However, things were all served in a slightly random order. We asked for our bacon to be very well done, but it was extremely under done. It would be helpful if sauces etc were kept at the table rather than having to keep asking for them. The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. Interestingly all the other hotels I have booked on this tour offered a 100% refund a few days before the day if necessary. This hotel only offers 50% regardless of the reason or timeframe.

PPengguna TetamuI have just check out yesterday and the hotel is lovely and the lobby is beautiful will a lot of space to take a seat and relax. This hotel also has no shortage of car parking spaces surrounding the building. We had booked a interconnecting room for 5 Ladies which is ideal for friends going for a night away. We had arrived before check in not expecting our rooms to be ready but to just leave our cars and head into town. The gentleman on reception was fantastic ( I'm so sorry for not remembering his name) he was able to check us in to one of our rooms early and send up a few drinks for us which was amazing and really set our stay up the right way. he also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks in the city which really helped. The rooms where spotless and we had nothing to complain about here. The beds are very comfortable. I also liked that the bathrooms have the bath and shower separate. the rooms are very quiet also which helped with getting some sleep. The breakfast was the only thing I would say was only ok. The only option for hot breakfast was Porridge or Full Irish which I thought was a bit limited. With it still being table service in this hotel, which I don't have a problem with, the server we had had forgot one or two things we asked for and we had to ask again. Some items we then received some we didn't. This still would not stop me from staying again. We had a very fun, comfortable, easy, friendly stay here and I would recommend this hotel to friends/family.

Ccynthiaf209I will start with the couple positives.....the beds are comfortable and the front desk employees are friendly. That is about it however. Our room was a good size and the bathroom looked as if it had recently been updated. Unfortunately there was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower had no place to put the soap or any other items one usually has in the shower and the hand help shower head could only be used if one held it. (no adjustable stationary setting for a real ”shower” experience.) I went to use the bathtub and found hair around the drain. (short hair..yuck) The rest of the hotel desperately needs a facelift, painting, carpet, furnishing. My shoes stuck to the floor in the breakfast area...something needed to be mopped up. We had bed and breakfast usually a good idea but not here. The selection was poor and meager. We stayed two nights. (in for a funeral and this hotel was the only one nearby that had vacancy and now of course I know why!!!) The second day we went for breakfast at 8:30 (breakfast from 7:30-10am) and they were all out of anything but pink mini donuts and bread rolls in the bread area. I mentioned to a server that they were out of almost all options did they need to restock and she said that was it!!! All gone. Many people arrived after us so it wasn't a case of no one else showing up for breakfast. Even the water pitcher with a lone lemon slice was empty!! The section for the cheese and meat contained two slices of cheese and four of a pressed ham. The cereal section (coco puffs, etc) was just as limited and listless. In an other room next to the breakfast room you could BUY scones and croissants but they were not available to those of us with breakfast included. The manager said you can't have those because those are ”the big ones”. We have travelled all over the world for the past 40 years and I honestly have to say this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have encountered.
