Stay was fine and the room was as expected. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Eggs were not scrambled as I am used to at Comfort Inns. They were more a solid patty. I should have had the waffles.

Everything was fine but breakfast. No coffee couldn’t find anyone to refill. Food was dry. Tried to make coffee in my room. Nothing for stirring coffee. Minor but irritating.

I was in town to attend the Carolina Renaissance Festival. I had attended a few weeks previously, and stayed at a different hotel. I decided to treat myself to a nicer hotel this time, but I would have been happier at the prior accommodations.
The room itself appeared nice, and it was nice to have a sofa, but there were issues. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and I had a great deal of trouble sleeping. The floor was dirty - I don't like wearing shoes, so I go barefoot indoors most of the time. My feet were black from the floors in the room. Also, the bath mat provided was threadbare. Another issue was the fact that I could hear every flush of the toilet and running of water from the room above. None of these issues were problematic enough to cause me to leave and try to find another hotel, though I feel there should be better oversight on housekeeping.
On the good side, the coffee was excellent, and always hot in the morning! The breakfast was not to my liking, but it did seem to be varied.
Overall, I was very disappointed, and I am not inclined to stay at this particular hotel again. I have stayed at other Comfort Inns in the past, and I know I will again, but I will give this one a pass.
