Our 2nd time at this beautiful hotel - it is such a lovely adult-only escape! The rooms and facilities are fantastic with the benefit of being right on the beach, yet close enough to town to be able to walk in when you want to. The pools (inside and out - one of which is heated) are excellent and clean. The heated outside cool wasn't warm but once you were in it was fine to breathe! The inside pool is beautiful and such a benefit. The buffet restaurant is fantastic - the choices are always excellent, with so many choices. For me, I love the huge range of nuts and seeds with choices of yoghurt etc., with lovely breads and eggs made to order. The seaside grill (between the beach and the pool) is fab for lunches, with salads and full meals available and cocktails, and the staff also bring drinks and nibbles direct to your sunbed if you wish! For evening, you can return to the buffet restaurant for a fabulous range of dishes, loads of Hors D'oeuvre's, meats and fish you can choose from that they will cook immediately for you, different roast and dishes, and so many gorgeous cheeses (my husbands favourite!), and desserts. Thankfully the swimming and the gym helps to counteract the plentiful and delicious food! The gym is well equipped with modern equipment and plenty of room and we have never found it too difficult to find space, plus the benefit of the bikes, treadmills and cross trainers having a direct view of the beach and sea! Would definitely recommend and would happily return.

Wow, despite reading mixed reviews I have nothing but good things to say about this resort. I am currently staying here with a friend to celebrate my wedding, and have had the most amazing time. The weather has been fabulous, and the hotel is well worth the 5 star rating. I want to give a special mention to Chritsina on reception, she has been so helpful and friendly. Also to Christian for his cocktail making skills, as well as Christian and Omar for their attentive customer service. Their efforts have made this an especially wonderful holiday. The food has been some of the best I've ever experienced, and such a great choice. The attention to hygiene e and cleanliness is outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and will definitely be returning! Thank you all for making the whole trip so special, the hotel is lucky to have such friendly hard working staff on their team!

4th time at this hotel. Lovely overall, spa reasonable, good pool areas and food at breakfast/lunch. We tended to head straight for the Bali beds on sugar reef everyday and swim off the pier, also went to eat out every night vs staying at the hotel. The guest relations team are exceptional and once an issue was raised they resolved it quickly. Very friendly restaurant team by the pool abc also the porter was very helpful. Down sides - slightly arrogant/unhelpful reception guys, also who ever runs the juice bar at breakfast seems to hate the public! strange behaviour considering they work in customer service/hospitality. Some rooms are in need of maintainance and the local area is unfortunately not ideal (disused hotel building sites for the past 15 + years). We may be back, undecided!

I have read recent reviews, state that the beach isn’t nice near the hotel. This hotel is next to a protected landscape ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’ If you head to Playa Del Pozo, the most beautiful beach and sand dunes stretches for miles, with turquoise sea. The beach in front of the hotel is rocky, but if you walk 10 minutes you will be greeted by the beautiful beach. In the middle of the beach is a small bar, called ‘H Bar.’ There is minimal facilities which brings to the beauty, quietness and serenity of the place. There is lots of windsurfers too.

Scanning across some of the previous reviews this is definitely a case of looking at the trends in reviews and discounting the outliers. Firstly, as someone who knows what a 5 star hotel looks like and does, this IS a five star hotel. Secondly, the location is NOT idyllic; there’s a decades old abandoned building site over the road from the front entrance and another such site right next door on the south side. But, there’s no work going on so no builders’ noises. Thirdly, the beach is NOT beautiful; it’s a tiny belt of sand in front of the hotel that rapidly gives way to black lava rocks. Fourthly, it’s not convenient for the town - it’s 25 minute brisk walk along the streets and slightly quicker if you walk along the beach all the way. But that’s no disadvantage as Coralejo is in fact a dump which needn’t detain any halfway discerning traveler. Which means you should spend more time at the hotel, which really is a lovely place with excellent staff, a relaxed vibe, appropriate entertainment and good food - especially breakfast. We had all-inclusive with sea-view. The hotel is built around a sun trap of a pool and courtyard area. Apart from the fact that the management follow a growing trend of wilfully disregarding their own signs saying “towels will be removed fro unoccupied sunbeds” (see my tip on how to handle this) it’s a great place to chill and relax with a restaurant and bar right beside it. We won’t be staying here again but that’s not down to the hotel, simply the fact that I’ve seen enough of Fuerteventura to last me this lifetime. We had a beautiful preferred club master suite staying all inclusive. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday this is the place. We enjoyed all the food. Love the breakfast especially seeing the bacon being cooked in front of you. We found all the food hot and varied. Did see the point in the preferred club menu though cause you could get everything you wanted at the buffet except for egg Benedict. Unfortunately not many of the staff are welcoming. Depeche was lovely, very attentive and happy. It seems the staff were more interested in getting tables ready instead of clearing dishes and chatty with guests. We found most of the staff in the bar friendly but service very slow. Our room was gorgeous comfortable bed, spacious lounge, huge bathroom with a lovely jacuzzi, a lovely big balcony. Was also shocked to find we had 3 wardrobes and plenty of drawer space. We asked for extra hangers and they brought them in super quick time. Oli our housekeeper was so lovely kept our room beautifully clean and always had a lovely smile. We weren’t very impressed with the preferred club. We’ve stayed in many ‘secrets’ hotels and always gone preferred club if this had been our first time we would never do it again. The club room just has a coffee machine, big tv, water and in the fridge all we ever seen in there were croissants. Also anybody can just walk in and help themselves. Other secret hotels you had sandwiches, hot and cold snacks and alcohol. Also the snacks in your room are not included and you have to pay €10 for room service. Even though we were all inclusive preffered club. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday which we talked about with reception on arrival and we had no happy anniversary or happy birthday from hotel?? Oh and we didn’t have separate check in or check out we queued with everybody else, no butler service, during check in we where told if we need something to call reception. Please don’t think I’m being snobby it’s just these things are suppose to be included and that’s way you pay the extra. I had a head and shoulder massage which was lovely. My review is quite mixed I think for this hotel to stay part of ‘secrets’ franchise and 5* it needs that’s something. It’s just missing that special touch.

Worth the money, based on hotels we walked past during our holiday, it was clear this hotel is luxury and stands out. Visited with the wife for a short break, hotel was beautiful, elegant and classy. Outdoor pool area was excellent. Hotel great location with nice short walks into town centre. Room was spacious and well designed with great views of pool. Gym was decent. We only had breakfast option which was buffet option with wide range of options and different foods each day.

A brilliant ahead of its contemporaries on Fuerteventura. Fantastic staff, great views, adults only and on the beach. We went in November which had less wind but slightly more cloudy at times. One of those holidays when you just didn't want to leave!

We loved our stay here, we did read a mixed bunch of reviews before going, so was slightly nervous, but it was absolutely lovely. Many reviews state this is not a 5 star hotel, we have stayed in 5 stars in Dubai so in comparison with these I can see why some might think this, but we have stayed in many 4 star hotels in the Canaries and this is definitely a cut above the regular 4 star All Inclusive you normally find. The view, we knew there was shells of building around but this didn't bother us as wherever we were, sunbathing on the beach or pool or eating you cannot see these, you can only see them when entering or leaving the hotel on the street, so again don't worry about it. Food and drink, we tried all the restaurants apart from the evening buffet, favourite was Olio, fresh turbot was sublime and included, other half had fillet steak with a supplement of 13 euros but he said was amazing. The food during the day at Seaside Grill was amazing, we couldn't believe the choice and quality. The only restaurant which we found everyone was not keen on was Chozo, it was a limited menu and my fish of the island was very strange, but it's the only meal I had in a week that disappointed. The Japanese restaurant was great too, make sure if you don't like raw fish that you opt for Tepenaki as a couple we met had a different experience. The staff, I really can't say anything negative about them at all, they are all very professional you can tell this is their career, they are friendly, polite, efficient, you normally see them in a variety of restaurants during the week and are great, it really surprised me to see some negativity on here about them. Cleanliness, we found everywhere immaculate, I did see a couple of the micro ants that have been mentioned, but most of us have ants in our gardens and these are tiny midgey sized ants. The rooms are massive with a very comfortable huge bed, much bigger than our superking at home, cleaned daily and turn down service at night. Entertainment is low key, usually a musician or singer, they are fine but it's not a Broadway show kind of hotel, most people there for the relaxation. We will definitely be back, we loved it, but be warned it's not a party hotel for the usual all inclusive party people, it's more English country hotel vibe.

Mixed review of this hotel. It wasn’t quite 5 star. Good - room service and turn down service good. Sea view room lovely. Lots of choice of restaurants although they aren’t all open on the same nights. Reception is lovely. My top tip is to spend time on the hotel beach. Gym and spa also nice. The waitress serving drinks by the beach was lovely. Best meals of the day were breakfast. Sunbed area doesn’t open until 9am so no crazy dashing for beds. There were always beds available by the beach and the pool all day. Could do better - Japanese disappointing food, the pools are freezing cold, the sunbeds around the pool all face each other so it feels a bit like a goldfish bowl. The buffet was not the best flavours we have ever had but there is a lot of choice. Some of the bars and restaurants advertised were not open at all. The nighttime entertainment is described as ‘low key’ and they aren’t kidding. Its terrible, we actually ended up playing cards, drinking to drown our sorrows and heading to bed early it was so boring. There is no buffet for lunch and you have to order from the menu when you don’t necessarily want a big meal. We took a taxi into the town which was a nice day out, lots of shops and bars and restaurants. We felt like almost everything was designed to limit consumption. We aren’t big drinkers but we would have found it impossible to get more than 3 drinks in the evening as service was slow and it seemed frowned up by staff. Food portions on the buffet are set for you as everything is already portioned up for you. We nowhere near consumed enough to make the all inclusive worth while. Also all inclusive stopped at check out and we had a voucher for lunch but had to pay for drinks. Never had this before at an all inclusive resort. We did also pay extra for a late check out room which means we could stay in our room until we left the hotel. In summary, this isn’t 5 star, it’s possibly 4 star due to the facilities. It was relaxing if you want to sit and read etc but not much going on. Probably suited to an older clientele.
