Buendia Corralejo Nohotel

We stayed for a week at the beginning January. We booked with JET2 and hired a car to pick up at the airport, which was great. I had asked before we arrived at the parking facilities and was told there was plenty of on street parking. We got there really easily and found a parking space right next to the entrance (there are plenty available). We were welcomed with a drink and a friendly Erica gave us our keys and explained all about the accommodation. We had 2 bed duplex apartment with direct access to the pool. The apartment was very clean and comfy and had all the equipment needed for us to self cater, massive fridge. The beds were really comfy the shower fab and there is plenty storage. The towels were lovely and large. There are pool towels in the apartment which is super. We visited the pool straight away, it was a little chilly, but warmed up as the week went on. The kids had a pulled pork sandwich and nutella crepes from the pool snack bar which were tasty and good value for money. The accommodation is very quiet, which suits us perfectly we were feet away from the bar and heard no noise at all. It is a 5 minute walk from the nearest supermarket and about a 7 minute one to the old town which is lovely in the evening with lots of restaurants and bars that you can sit at and listen to the singing and entertainment in the square. The accommodation has a central courtyard where our apartment patio faced into. If I stayed again I would request to be on the other side (rooms in the 100s) as these had the sun, our apartment was in the shade all the time and there is quite a dew in the winter in Fuerteventura and this made everywhere not in the sun quite wet downstairs. The bedrooms were in the sun which made them a little hot, but there is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom which rectified this. As my son was sick while we there the reception staff gave us a plug in fan to keep him cool, which was great of them. The staff here clearly love their jobs they are always happy, greet everyone and always busy cleaning. They are very helpful, polite efficient and kind. Especially Erica and Serena, who asked about how my son was and gave me helpful advice. There is a laundrette facility here too which is brilliant. The washer is 6 euros and takes 25 minutes and the drier (should you need it as there is a large airer in the apartment) is 4 euros. Couple of things to note - 1) Rubbish, you will need to dispose of yourselves, there are some small recycling units in the grounds but the main area is just outside the hotel in the council bins, but be careful here as there is a lot of broken glass. I found it quite difficult, you are encouraged to recycle and I did want to but the bins are not labelled well and they are not emptied regularly. This may be something that Buendia may want to address with their local authorities? 2) In the apartment there are some dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid a tea towel and a coupe of cloths include

The staff make you feel valued and were very welcoming .the 2 bedroom apartment with rooftop terrace was excellent very well equipped and very comfortable and clean ,the pool area very well taken care of comfortable sun beds

Second time here for Christmas. Staff are all very helpful and really friendly. Breakfast is good value and the hot dishes are cooked to order, the lunch time menu is also very good and not overly priced. This year we booked a roof terrace which we loved. 5minute walk to music square bars restaurants etc We will be back.

We were greeted with a glass of cava and a very friendly welcome. Lovely upgrade to rooftop terrace. Apartment spotless and well appointed. Lacked storage in bedroom and limited appliance instructions. But I’m sure if we needed any help, they would have been more than happy to help. We had a lovely stay, felt relaxed and chilled after our week there! All staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds kept spotless. Lovely gesture of ‘bubbles and meet the team’ where we again had cava, nibbles and the manager introduced himself and chatted to everyone! How lovely was that! Beautiful pool! Not far from bars and restaurants! Would not hesitate to recommend Buendia! And will definitely return! Well done. 😊

We have just got back after an amazing week at Buendia. We were treated by the great staff and a welcome drink. The staff were always around and happy to help with anything you needed. Buendia is the perfect location with only a 5minute walk to the harbour and supermarkets. It is also around the same length of time to the Main Street where the shops are bars are. Would definitely recommend going to the music square on an evening where there is live music from 20:00-23:30. Waves bar have a fantastic variety of food and drinks that are reasonably priced with great portion sizes. They stop serving food at 5pm and drinks at 6pm. We stayed in a duplex apartment which was a great size, very clean and everything you needed. The only downfall was there wasn’t enough plug sockets so would recommend taking an extension cord. On an evening it can get windy/cold on your balcony so don’t forget a jacket. There is some blankets on the room that can be used. Towels and pool towel provided, the rooms are cleaned every seven days but for a small price you can pay for your towels and bedding to be changed during your stay if you wish. The pool area is clean and spacious with plenty of sun loungers. There is a lifeguard around the pool for most of the day too. Overall we could not fault this Nohotel and cannot wait to book again. We've just arrived back from a week away at this hotel, self catering so I thought id write a review thats honest..we arrived late evening, and the lady checking us in, was very nice, very informative, & the whole process took no time at all. There were no pods in our room for the coffee machine, but the lady at the front desk gave me a couple, when I asked, & we went into the town for some food, with wasn't a problem & was only a short walk. We were given an upgrade, so the apartment was lovely, clean tidy and everything you could want, although we didnt cook or use the dishwasher, there were instructions..we were in room 232 which over looked the pool area..I didnt see a single cockroach (previous reviewers complaint) Yes some rooms look into the street & face peoples homes, not an issue at all for me after all, where would you expect the locals to live!!!!...theres a big tv nothing English on it, but you can sign into your own net flick account, if you want to watch tv!!! we ate at the Loft, which is open till 6pm, maybe later as the seasons really starts, food was nice & we tried breakfast once, which was 12e each, we personally enjoyed it. Theres a big supermarket, which was very reasonably priced & not far away there was some work being done on building a car park area, but it didnt impact on our holiday at all, the town is 10 mins away, we went out every night loads to see and do...if you want to feed the chipmunks, then walk up to the burger king and as you stand with your back to the entrance, you'll see a bit of waste land, go towards that and you'll see a bus stop where the chipmunks are, they'll take food from you. Although the weather wasn't very good, during our stay we had a lovely time, and loved the hotel, we paid extra 2e for extra beach towel, we weren't bothered that the room wasn't cleaned in our weeks stay, as why would you need it cleaning, or sheets changed in that time???? If you walk towards the sea then turn right and follow the road you come to the harbour, and you come to a small beach, with bars etc near, but if you follow along to the next beach there are beds on that one, but be warned the guy charges 20e which is a massive rip off, and why most lie on the sand..so only used it once, so the guy lost money with. his greed in the long run, as living in Cyprus it cost 7.50e So in conclusion, great place, every member of staff is so friendly and we would totally stay again

5 out of 5 My third visit and already booked again for next year. If you want a relaxing break this is the place to do it. Lovely equipped apartments. Comfortable pool area. Very helpful staff. This place is just perfect for me. The pool area has very comfortable sun beds and it’s never a problem to get one. The apartments have everything you can think of for a perfect stay. The apartments poolside are great. We’ve upgraded for a rooftop one for next year for a change. Genuinely cannot fault the place.

Such an amazing place to stay, comfy beds, beautiful interior. Plenty of space, the apartment was big and spacious for a family. We had a patio terrace and it was perfect for us. Wonderful staff and amazing food . Perfect location close to main area and beaches. We couldn’t have asked for more Thank you to all of the staff We will be back soon x

Booked this apartment as it was rated 2nd on trip advisor - rest of hotels must be of poor standard. Pool area is the best thing about this place so clean and staff in Wave bar are so nice with a great breakfast see attached photo. But I could not understand the prices for lunch and drink (14 euro for a burger and 3.50 for a beer - people drinking cans around pool) - I could go down to harbour and have lunch and a drink by the sea for cheaper - why not drop prices and keep people at pool do a happy hour - also bar closes at 6pm. Rooms only cleaned once per week had cock roaches in room see attached photos - reported same and they sent cleaner to room (I understand that cockroches come with this Climate) one was on my leg - they say its envioroment, but no issue if you want to pay extra 35 euro - sheets on bed changed ever 7 days but if you want to pay extra no issue changing sheets also. All the staff here are lovely people. This could be a great adult only hotel has so much potential. Also bring a pair of runners as this at the top of old town . We had a nice time but have been to better.
