"Room was clean and comfortable.. Breakfast was delicious but not many variety. The hotel is good located.It was nice to have a long walk around the city center and the other beaches. If you have some disability I will recommend to rent a car o take taxi. The neighborhood was absolutely not loud so you can really have your peace."

"The house is well located, with easy parking and quick access to the city center on foot. The private room is comfortable, as is the bedding, the common areas are cleaned daily, and the welcome is warm. I recommend it!"

La Concha del Mar

"Had a lovely stay. Apartment lovely and clean. Table and 4 chairs in lounge. Television. Internet which was very good. Settee. Kitchen well equipped. We were in apartment 12 and it had a full size fridge freezer which we put to good use. 3 ring hob. Sandwich maker but would rather have had a toaster. Coffee machine and kettle and a dishwasher which husband said would not get used but it definitely was during our stay and a microwave. There was not much storage space for dry goods so were put into equipment cupboards. I don’t think the other apartments have a full size fridge freezer just a fridge with ice compartment. Nice size bedroom and the bed was really comfortable so we slept really well. Only had to use fan one night as unfortunately the weather was not fantastic. Not much storage space in bedroom. Hanging space and two bedside tables. Nice big mirror and also a safe. Shower was fantastic. Lovely and powerful and nice adjustable temperature. Hair dryer was very good too. Bathroom decoration very nice. Individual outside space with table and two chairs and 2 sunbeds and a clothes dryer. The apartments on our side of pool did not get sunshine until lunchtime while those on other side got sun most of the day. Number 8 seemed to get sun most of day. Sunbathing platform by pool with 4 sunbeds which gets sun all day. As it was quite breezy it was sometimes difficult to get out of wind on our outside space. Number 1 was tucked right in corner and did not seem to get much sun at all. Couldn’t work out why that one had a built in bbq either. Number 2 not much private outside space but got plenty of sun. This is a complex of 12 apartments and to get to number 12 you either had to go down a set of stairs and up another set. We do not travel light and so we had to take cases all around the outside. When nothing to carry the stairs were no problem. Stayed for 2 weeks and cleaned only once at beginning of 2nd week which is quite normal. There was some building work being done while we were there as they were refurbishing a couple of apartments but the noise did not bother us. Would not hesitate to stay again except we would prefer something a bit nearer to bars and restaurants due to distance but is only a 5 to 10 minute walk. Supermarket less than 5 minutes away."

"We have revisited this hotel 3 years after our 1st visit and this time as a group with 8 friends. Everyone is pleased with the hotel choice. The comments on the food is the best all inclusive food altough breakfast could be warmer. The cleanliness of the hotel and how happy the staff are. The only downside and negativity is our room 415 the floor is seperating in places. It's no biggie for us but could be a trip hazard for older people. If it wasnt for this it would be 5 out of 5."

"The hotel and staff were lovely. The rooms were kept clean and WiFi was good throughout the hotel. They also had good entertainment during the day and in the evening. It was only 5-10 mins in a cab to the town centre and there were shops and supermarkets a short walk away if you wanted to stay local. What they need to improve on is the food. The quality was ok but it was always cold. The heat lamps don’t appear to work. Also as lots of friendly birds pass through they take a nibble or two from the bread baskets. Sort that out and you’re all good!"

"Food was good as was the rooms and massive swimming pools, the only problem was all the entertainment was in french! We were not told that the place was french owned and very much geared up for french people. Dissapointed as we couldnt join in with the games or entertainment"

Las Marismas de Corralejo

"A little bit on the outskirts of town but so it would trouble som folk who were no physically able but was fine for us, infact perfect as no noise polution. The complex is great with lots of facilities and a great wee mini market with some prices cheaper that Hyperdino. The rooms themselves are dated and the lack of aircon was an oversight in my diligence in booking, for that alone i would not book again as even in May it was too hot to sleep with the ceiling fans serving no purpose. We were self catering but chose the option to eat one night in restaurant on Mexican night. The food was lovely and plentiful in choice. Another downside is the lack of an adult only pool. The toddler pool had so many adults round it for the peace and quiet of it, the location would be perfect. The most toddlers i seen in it were 2. The signs by the other pools state, no inflatables and yet it was over run by them. I would not for one second take the joy of that away from kids but hence the reason for an adult only pool where no need for toys etc. Staff were hit or miss re efficiency and friendlyness but i wouldn't score down for that at all, my workplace is the same. Overall i would defo stay again if they invested in airxon!"
