Hotel Pozzo di Borgo

I'm a travel agent and explored Corsica for a week. Hotel Pozzo di Borgo is in a great location in the middle of the attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Best customer service from check-in to check-out. Bathrooms can use a bit of updating, but I had no complaints and the room was comfortable. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Ajaccio.

Leesa greeted us professionally on arrival, and provided us with Room 208; one of the historic rooms on the hotel. This generously-sized room had windows/doors opening onto a wrap around balcony so we had east-west AND north-south views. The bathroom also had doors that opened onto the balcony and all had outside shutters so the light an d privacy could be controlled. The room was spotlessly clean, and peaceful, restful and quiet. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows, and the linens were of good quality and expertly laundered. Parking is right on the street, and we had little trouble finding a spot within 50 feet of the door. That said, Leesa said I was lucky to find it. All in all this hotel provided an excellent value and the staff could not have been nicer. The area is great for walking so one we parked the car, we didn’t use it again u til we departed the hotel. There are many attractions bars, restaurants, shops and services within steps of the front door. There is even a proper barber on the same street, and I noticed a place for laundry on our sojourns. The area felt very safe and was well-lit in the evening. Two minimal disappointments and in fairness we didn’t discover them until it was too late to call the desk; -the heated towel rack in our room did not work, so a sink full of laundry didn’t dry overnight. It did dry on the east-west part of the balcony after the sun came up. - a lack of luggage racks in the room. One suit case went on the desk and the others were just on the floor. The wonderful and efficient Leesa also recommended and booked a table for us at Marinette, where we were treated to an excellent meal, prepared by the namesake’s grandson. Leesa also recommended an excellent knitwear designer’s clothing shop across the street, called Nine (pronounced Neene)

This boutique hotel is ideally located in a historic building in the heart of the old town next to the Maison Bonaparte. The rooms are spacious and clean with large comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of quality foods. Currently the bar, sadly, is not operational. The staff is friendly and helpful. The night manager, Thibault, who speaks excellent English shares willingly of his vast knowledge of the history of Ajaccio, Corsica and the significant people who have lived there.

Hotel charmoso. Gostei muito. O quarto é grande, banheiro maravilhoso. A localização é próximo ao centro e do trenzinho. Se sua ideia é curtir as praias, não sei se é a melhor opção. Café da manha bom, mas sem muitas opções. Perto do hotel tem vários restaurantes. Achei estranho termos que anotar uma senha da entrada, pois não tem recepcionista 24hs. Atendimento muito bom, apenas um rapaz da recepção que tambem ficada no cafá da manha que não era simpático e parecia não gostar da profissão. Minha eterna gratidão à Haouari, camareira pois ela chamou ajuda da dona da pousada quando minha mae teve um problema de saude. Agradeço também a Dona do Hotel por tomar as providencias rápidas para chegar a ambulância. Já ia me esquecendo da gatinha de estimação, a Lili. Uma fofura.

L’hôtel est très bien situé en centre ville d’Ajaccio sur rue piétonne très calme. Personnel très accueillant ouvert 24/24 Chambre spacieuse et agréable mais un peu sombre (1er étage). Literie très bonne. Très bon séjour. Je recommande vivement

Perfektes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt in der Altstadt von Ajaccio. Ruhige und zentrale Lage. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und zuvorkommendes Personal. Grosse moderne eher schlicht ausgestattete Zimmer mit modernem Badezimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet.
