I had a great time with my family at the hotel and the staff were really nice aswell as helpful,a worker named Esperi was really fun and helpful with games and activities constantly making sure people were enjoying themselves and felt comfortable around the hotel,would totally come back the sun burn is worth it

Great hotel with a large pool area with lots of sunbeds. Nice cocktails and you can help yourself to soft drinks and beer. All lovely staff, they have all been helpful in every way they can. The animation team are absolutely brilliant from kids all the way upto adults, with activities all throughout the day and mini discos for the kids at night. Esperi from the animation team was one of the best entertainment people I’ve encountered at a hotel before, he made the stay so much better. He’s not very good at table tennis though .

Just got back having gone as a single parent. Room - Stayed in a junior suite. It was large, clean and had an excellent view over the pool from the balcony. Pool area - plenty of space in the 2 pools, lots of people out cleaning and clearing anything throughout the evening/early morning. Even on the hottest days, we managed to come back after being out for the morning and still get a bed or 2, although you’re gonna have to “reserve” one unfortunately if there’s a few of you. Could do with more parasols. Staff - Staff were great. Really friendly and really helpful. The young man and young girl who did the entertainment were great fun. Food - A lot of mixed reviews on here but there was so much choice from local dishes to burgers, nuggets & chips. Huge fruit selection with every meal, and plenty of choice for mains. Really good choice and the staff are constantly on hand to clear tables ready for you to sit. Desserts were a bit limited but that’s potentially because people are greedy and get massive plates full of dessert. Managed to get fruit (obviously because no one chooses that) and/or ice cream each time though. Drinks - Amstel on tap for you to help yourself, along with plenty of Pepsi/lemonade/fizzy drinks. Only criticism is you have to go down to the lobby or pool side to use the water dispenser outside of meal times. Could do with one on each floor. Day time entertainment - plenty going on. Every couple of hours through the day they get people involved doing stuff. Evening entertainment - probably my only criticism but that’s more circumstantial. It’s probably great for toddlers, young kids but there isn’t a lot of seating. At all. So if you’re not willing to sit through an hour or so of chi chi wa, you won’t have a seat for the later evening entertainment. But the later evening entertainment wasn’t great. My daughter is 10 and the evenings were a struggle as there wasn’t really a lot to do. Pool closes about 7, kids disco/underwhelming entertainment and not a lot else to entertain them. All in all we had a great time.

We stayed here between 10th and 20th August 2024. We were a little anxious after seeing very mixed reviews but were left happy with our choice of Hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was a little dated but very clean, spacious and perfect for what we required with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and entertainment area. The food was good overall with a large choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only issue being you may struggle if you're a vegetarian. There was plenty of space for tables and chairs even when busy. The evening entertainment was mainly aimed at younger families but our teenage children were happy sat listening to various singers while we had a drink and played cards. The all inclusive was a decent package with unlimited soft drinks that you can serve yourself or alcohol served by staff. Snacks are also available through the day. The staff are fantastic and all work very hard to keep the hotel clean and running smoothly. The local area is lovely with several beaches within walking distance to choose from. (We preferred Duque) And there's loads of taxis to flag down if you're struggling walking in the heat. Most charge 3.50 euros from the beach back to the hotel and accept card payments. Overall we had a great time at Chatur Playa Real and loved Costa Adeje!!

Just back after 10nights all inclusive with my husband and 2 children (5&7yrs)and this is my honest review. I was nervous about going because of the negative reviews but decided to take them with a pinch of salt as I know people tend to only leave negative reviews. Upon arriving at the hotel I was initially impressed. The main entrance is very nice with a grand staircase and water features either side. It was spotless and had a lovely smell. It turned out we weren’t staying in the hotel but instead in the annexe (a building of self-contained apartments 4 floors high). To be fair it did state this on our booking but we had no idea what it meant and all pictures shown on Jet2 website were of the hotel rooms. Our room was fine, but quite dated and run down. Stained walls, shower curtain, chipped unit and bedside wall mounted unit was on the floor instead of the wall. It was definitely not 4 star. The water out of the bath was yellow. I know you don’t drink the tap water there but I was unsure if it should have been yellow or not. Apart from that it had a lovely big balcony , the beds were comfy and spacious and the cleaning staff always kept it immaculate. Unfortunately the walls were paper thin. We could hear the families through the wall and every movement from upstairs. My husband and I only got one full night sleep there due to noises from others rooms. Although this is classed as a family hotel there were lots of groups of young lads. We had a group above us and they were up to all hours, music on, shouting fighting etc. Other rooms could often be heard shouting at them to keep the noise down. I thought it odd that they would put groups of lads in with families and not in the main hotel. I had read in the reviews about the strong smell of **** in this hotel and unfortunately that is true. I wasn’t aware when booking that Tenerife have changed their laws around **** and that it is now legal to smoke it in private residence. This meant many guests were smoking it on their balconies and we had to come in or close the door as the boys were asking what the horrible smell was. My husband also had to speak to one of the lads who was absolutely out of his face, walking about the kids mini disco and smoking a joint. Breakfast was always plentiful and lots of choice for the kids. You could have fresh omelettes made for you. Lunch was good but we often didn’t eat it because we were so full from breakfast etc. Dinner was a theme each night but it was very repetitive. Although the general quality of the food was good there was little choice. The children’s selection was limited : pizzas, plain pasta, chips , grated cheese and sometimes nuggets or turkey finger things. Thankfully our boys ate the fish that was cooked on the large grills etc. but it was very repetitive for them. We also found that depending on when you went down to eat would depend on what was available. I felt that food items were not replenished quickly enough and 45-3

I’m impressed with this hotel. Although some parts dated, it was clean. The food was amazing, freshly cooked meats and there is always a variety to choose from. Staff helpful, we booked our transfer to siam park and bought tickets too. We asked if we could get a taxi down to los christianos and they had one outside within 2 minutes. We stayed in a junior suite, rooms could do with a bit of TLC but it was very clean nonetheless. Lovely location, 10 minutes down hill to fanabe beach and the bolouvard.

We're currently half way through our holiday now and the kid's are absolutely loving it! I can honestly say I have never seen a more enthusiastic dancing pirate like the one at the kids disco Dario and Ethsa are brilliant with the kids and do a great job of tiring them out ready for bed so thankyou! I've had to prise my daughter from Dario at one point as she won't leave him alone! When we first arrived I was a bit annoyed as we were not told check in is at 3pm so we waited around for like 4 hours. This isn't ideal after travelling all night with a baby a toddler and a 6 year old who were shattered. We were able to put our cases in the luggage room though and use the facilities/ restaurant at least until check in. We stayed in a family room which is a really good size for a family of 5. This looks out onto the splash park which has been a god send. My kids have made so many friends there and it's just the right depth for smaller children. The let down however is that the bar on this side is never open and is self serve only so there is no music and only softndrinks and beer available. Anything else you have to go to the other pool bar to get. The food here for me personally has been lovley. I've tried a different type of fish every night, the choices of meats fall apart on your fork and there is basic things for kids such a pizza, pasta, chips, chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc. My oldest daughter is extremley picky so weve struggled a bit with her as 'it isnt the same pizza' but thats her problem not the hotels. ( the pizza is lovely btw) The breakfast and dinner option is usually alot better than the lunch menu for picky kids. There is always fresh pancakes and omelettes on a morning and a fresh choice of fish and meat on the griddle in the afternoon and evening. About a 2 minute walk from the hotel is a free bus to siam park which takes about 10 minutes, this is every hour. You can also get a taxi for about €12. We had 10 day passes for siam park included with jet2 so that's been brill! The beach again is about a 10 minute walk there but coming back is a little longer if you have kids as it is all up hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have kids or if you want a quick get away with your other half. It's in a really good location, the staff are so friendly and the rooms have been cleaned every day. It's an absolute sun trap aswell so bring extra sun cream!!

Hotel room was spacious (actually a bedroom, living room and balcony with a nice view). Usually my stomach gets sick when I eat out, so I would like to praise the hotel restaurant because the food never made me sick. However, I ate out once (outside the hotel) and regretted it for 2 days ;) Many entertainment activities at the hotel was a big advantage for me. Me and my friends met here a wonderful animator Maria, who led many events (yoga, water zumba, water polo, ping pong tournament, bingo, etc.). She and her handsome friend dancing with a red shirt on his head (I won't write the name because I don't want to make a mistake) spread positive energy around. So I spent most of my free time taking part in activities led by them. Thank you to the Hotel Staff for a nice time! Kisses to MARIA (and hmm?
