Nice hotel, in an area more suited for german holiday makers. 2e bus ride into the old town.

Would rate this hotel 3 star at best. Single room, very compact in size. Lounge area in hotel is pleasant. Food average. Nearby beach is great though the area isn’t kept best standards. Predominantly German side of town which is probably better than having your average British teenagers in groups. Locals look pissed off. There are bigger/newer hotels not far away.

Very central, rooms and pool facilities very good. The best thing about this hotel was the STAFF.....The service and kindness of staff was very special. Friendly, nothing was a problem . Reception staff amazing were, Paula in particular who went out of her way to make my elderly mum feel special and Duvan on reception who remembered each day who we were. LOVELY PEOPLE

The hotel was perfect - an older building but nicely reconstructed in a modern style: gym, 3 pools, nice pool bar. Everything nice and stylish - and clean. Excellent location - 5 min walking from the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, promenade. And what is important - 5 from the bus stop to the city center, the airport (public transport - Palma de Mallorca, a ticket costs 2 EUR - and you can get anywhere in Palma, the ticket is valid unless you get off the bus). The majority of the guests were young people. In some reviews, guests complain about other guests being noisy (football fans, young boys/girls weekend parties) - partially yes - but you are in Mallorca and on S Arenal beach - so you must be prepared for it. It is a party area on the island. I was there with two teenage sons and they loved it there. The room was nice and clean, but smaller than we expected. No wardrobes - just open racks and hangers. But no problem for us. (What we really did not like were the big mattresses thrown under the sofa bed all our stay. We stayed 3 persons in 2-bed + 1 sofa bed room - so one of us slept on the sofa bed. As they built a bed from the sofa - the huge unused mattresses (bigger than the frame of the bed) were thrown under the bed and the mattresses were sticking out from under the bed. Not only it was ugly looking but it was also dangerous - because one could easily trip over them at night. We liked the restaurant very much, a very nice selection of food at breakfast as well as at dinner. 5 of 7 days there were thematic dinners (Asian, Italian...) which was perfect. What was surprising for us- was we had to pay for ALL our drinks at dinner even though we had half-board at the hotel, even for drinking water. It might be standard for Mallorca, but we never experienced anything like this before. To sum up - if we forget those 2-3 small difficulties - we loved there everything. It was a very good hotel and I can recommend it to everybody.

Food is amazing, tasty and diverse. Hotel is beautiful with its white and green decor. It has 3 pools and gym. Location is perfect, right at Palma de Playa. Staff is very kind and helpful. There’s no noise at night in the hotel, they have a bodyguard, so you can sleep peacefully. Definitely recommending

the accommodation in the hotel was great, the hotel is a short distance from the beach, the promenade is full of restaurants, bars, shops. Great, I recommend it. Attention, the floor in the room was dirty, the cleaning was very superficial.

August 2024, two weeks at Dunas Blancas, Majorca. 1. Modern, hotel, smart reception, room to match, especially liked the open wardrobe and proper mattress, both of us slept very well. 2. New looking bathroom, extra shaving mirror was a great addition. 3. Service was noticeably good at all points, reception, dining room and housekeeping. 4. Gym, small but perfectly formed, early seemed to be the best time to use it. 5. Access to the beach is directly through the hotel, it’s a good sandy beach, got lots of use. 6. What a great hotel, good looking, comfortable and relaxing.

We stayed at HM Dunas Blancas at the end of August, it was a beautiful hotel. We booked with easyJet holidays, so the hotel and flights were included. Lovely service, the restaurant buffet had a great selection of food. The waiters and waitresses were lovely, Maribel in particular was so kind and taught us about the authentic wine of Mallorca. She was very attentive and always made sure we were happy. The location of the hotel was a bit close to the evening night life, if you’re looking for a more relaxing time. But we were never disturbed by noise during our stay, we would have preferred to of been in a quieter location. The closer you got towards Palma the more peaceful it became. The receptionists were very helpful and always on hand to offer help with taxis, recommendations and even offered us a welcome drink! The rooms were lovely, very clean and modern. However could do with some more storage space for clothes, ie draws and more hanging space.
