Incredible place up on a hill, great staff, lovely a**osphere

This was my second stay in this hotel The first time was two years ago in the annex but it made me want to come back especially for the pool. This time I came with my family and I booked two Deluxe rooms with Booking. This stay turned out to be very poor. The first morning at 07:30 the cleaning ladies chatted for an hour in the hallway at the door of our rooms without it being possible to silence them even by notifying the reception. Then the cutlery for breakfast was not clean, in particular a very dirty spoon, which a child would not have placed on a clean table and then the next day a chipped glass. Then I did not appreciate the sticky tables at the rear of the garden, uncleaned, the unsightly presence of a basin of stagnant water in this same place which naturally attracts the mosquitoes which devour your ankles, the garbage can in the parking lot which overflows and the grimy underside of the bathroom soap dish. I gave a letter of complaint the first morning at reception, it never had the slightest echo. The management is absent and the reception inoperative. On my return I made an unappreciative comment on Booking which only generated an artificial intelligence message. Although the place is magnificent, the garden well-kept and the swimming pool always very pleasant it is necessary to reckon with a difficult access in the last very narrow roads to the castle where it is better not to cross another vehicle. Finally the breakfast is delicious and its staff friendly, but this is not the case with the management who does not take into account or repair the inconvenience suffered in a so-called 4 star establishment. I cannot recommend this hotel and won’t return.

Fantastic castle hotel with spacious rooms and panoramic view. Good quality food in the restaurant. Table served, excelent breakfast. Good value for money. Only minusses: interior somewhat outdated, heating not on upon arrival and completely shut off during the night. Not one single international T.V. channel, only Italian. Somewhat remote upon a hill so no possibillities to go anywhere without a car. Beware when you book if there is no wedding party planned because the hotel is a famous for wedding venue.

Beautiful gardens, fantastic food and super-friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant. Pet-friendly (not just tolerated), we’d be happy to return.

Beautiful place, friendly staff but terrible food. Everything was either unsavoury, disappointing or weird looking. Felt sorry for the families of the bride and groom for having a disappointing dinner after all the planning they did.

Location trovata tramite uno Smartbox regalo. Ho prenotato con mia moglie il percorso Spa ed ho cenato presso il loro ristorante. Percorso Spa piccolo ma molto ben organizzato ed il maestro di Spa molto molto bravo. Merita la visita solo la sua competenza. Molto bella la Biosauna e fantastico lo scrub al vino rosso! Per la cena location molto suggestiva, cena in linea con il prezzo. Salsiccia cruda piatto migliore. Peccato per il petto di anatra un po’ scappato di cottura. Camera accogliente anche se un bagno un po’ datato ma comunque pulito e con tutto funzionante. Location per matrimoni importante.

Affascinante hotel realizzato all’interno di un antico maniero posto sulla collina verde a ridosso di Saluzzo, ideale per soggiorni sport e relax, dotato di SPA e di un buon ristorante. Camere ampie e attrezzate, arredate con mobili d’epoca, arazzi e tende, decorazioni murarie di pregio. Il soggiorno permette di fare un salto nel tempo, sembra di essere nella sceneggiatura di Elisa di Rivombrosa, dove la nobiltà era un segno distintivo. Vale la pena qualunque sia il motivo del vostro viaggio

Sono stato al CASTELLO ROSSO nella giornata di Pasqua seguendo un percorso di ricerca storica medievale che sto effettuando in tutta la Provincia Granda, la Provincia di Cuneo. Per questo ero già passato in precedenza da Costigliole Saluzzo interessandomi solo superficialmente al Castello Rosso che, peraltro, tra le sue mura ha scritte pagine di storia importanti. Ho prenotato per il pranzo pasquale e sono stato sorpreso dalla gentile bontà del Menu: un connubio perfetto tra i sapori di mare e di terra con aromi di montagna e pianura, un fiume di gusto e sapore sapientemente irrorato dai suoi affluenti sorgenti dalla vite: una selezione importante di vini rossi e bianchi, fermi e bollicine per coccolare e accentuare la bontà dei piatti. La proprietà e il personale tutto sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità superlativa e ringrazio di cuore la Proprietà perché ho ricevuto il dono pasquale più gradito che uno storico possa desiderare: quello di poter visitare e fotografare il dipinto di Hans Clemer che si trova al secondo piano dell’hotel. Grazie a Castello Rosso per avermi coccolato in questa giornata particolare e un sentito arrivederci a presto: perché chi ama le coccole le desidera…….. sempre. Ruggero Monti

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in una camera di questa struttura. Abbiamo riscontrato molta cura ed attenzione nel mantenere una location bella, ricca e piena di splendidi dettagli. Camera pulita, colazione buona, spa molto piacevole ed originale (complimenti al ragazzo che ci ha seguiti nel percorso!) e tanta gentilezza dei gestori e del personale alla reception (ci è stato regalato il late check out dato che il giorno dopo la ns camera sarebbe stata libera; queste sono accortezze che fanno la differenza e che non si trovano quasi mai! ). Complimenti e grazie per tutto. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e seguiti. Torneremo a trovarVi!
