Hotel Funivia

This place is a bit of a hike off Courmayeur if you're following the TMB, but I'm not surprised it gets consistent good reviews. Staff are lovely and it's super cozy, clean, and welcoming inside. I specifically booked it as an alternative to the usual refuges because it was the midpoint of my trek and I wanted to have my own room for a night, and I could not have been more pleased. It should really have more than two stars as a hotel. Classy mountain decor, spacious rooms, spotless bathrooms, a very tasty breakfast selection and good optional packed lunch if you want one for the next day (as part of the official TMB refuge list, they do offer this). Dinner was not available when I was there but they give you a discount at a restaurant next door if you're hungry, so they have that covered too.

We had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Funivia while on the Tour de Mont Blanc. We were looking forward to a comfortable stay and a laundry service at a hotel after a few days of backpacking and staying at refuges. The laundry service, at 14 euro, left us with laundry that was still visibly dirty and used, smelled bad, and looked like it had barely soaked in water. When we asked staff member Elena about this, we were told our clothes had been washed for an hour and we’d have to pay for an additional cycle, denying the fact that our clothes were still visibly dirty. We decided to instead hand wash our laundry with detergent Elena provided, which had incidentally been diluted with water. The water in which we hand washed our allegedly washed clothes was dirty and we suspect that our clothes had not been washed, despite being told otherwise. At check out with Elena, we politely asked not to be charged for a laundry service that left our clothes dirty. She was unwilling to accommodate this request until we showed her photos we had taken of our laundry, still dirty, after she had supposedly cleaned it. Afterward, Elena was incredibly rude and unprofessional with us throughout the check out process, and slammed my card down on the table after I paid for our stay. As if that weren’t enough, it appears that I was bitten by bedbugs both nights we stayed at the hotel. We informed Elena about this at check out, but she did not respond to us. We hope this issue is resolved before future guests stay in the same room. Otherwise, the experience would have been decent. The hotel breakfast was good and the place was itself was charming. However, the lack of quality and professionalism we experienced with the laundry service, as well as the presence of bed bugs, really ruined our stay.

We would highly recommend Hotel Funivia! Our room was simple but clean, large, comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom. Beautiful view of the town and valley. Simple, but delicious breakfast in the morning. Reservations were made at a nearby restaurant with a discount. Our laundry was done for 15 euros! Very nice and helpful staff. Great stop on the TMB!

Poco fuori Courmaryer, nella frazione di La Palud qusto piccolo ma accogliente B&B.la Sig.Elena che lo gestisce molto gentile e preparata anche per fornitore informazion turistiche Avevamo la stanza al 3° piano,non c'è ascensore,con una vista ottima sui dintorni.la stanza è molto grande con un bagno altrettanto spazioso. tutto pulito e in ordine. La colazione non fa eccezione, molto varia e buonissima, con le torte fatta in casa e prodotti locali.

Ottimo Hotel, pulitissimo, camera spaziosa e molto graziosa, la conduzione familiare è eccellente, sia per cordialità sia per i consigli sulle escursioni. La colazione è ricca di prodotti locali e genuini. Per un’altra vacanza a Courmayeur, ritorneremo sicuramente in questo Hotel.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, a pochi chilometri da courmayer, personale molto gentile e disponibile, stanze ampie , arredamento in legno molto carino Dispone di salottini per la sera Colazione buona, molto vicino alla funivia del Monte bianco Nell immediate vicinanze disponibili ristoranti e pizzeria,
