Hotel 4 bintang Crawley yang Popular

We had booked the hotel since we were flying out of Gatwick early next day. The ongoing rail strikes was one of the primary reasons for the stay at Gatwick. The stay was worth every bit, right from the check in by the hotel manager Soumya Mukherjee to the staff at the restaurant - Brijesh, Ravi and the other girls who served us and ensured that we were well fed and all our special food needs were taken care of. The rooms were clean and provided comfortable and sound sleep. Will definitely stay again and recommend all others who have to fly out early from Gatwick to spend the night there. Its Day 1 of our quarantine and I feel compelled to write about our experience here so far under difficult circumstances. Having read so many horror stories of quarantine hotels in the UK we thought keeping expectations low would be the best bet and would render minimum frustration all round. But I am happy to report that the staff at the Arora Gatwick have surpassed all expectations ! Everyone we have encountered thus far, from young Mohamed who helped us with the form filling ,to Jerry at reception who has been kindness personified and the wonderful lady(apologies didn't get your name)who just assisted with my IT problems,has bent over backwards to help us. The food so far is fresh, tasty and more than adequate. In fact its excellent considering the restrictions in delivery .I am a vegetarian so its a delight to have such well spiced food, a huge departure from the bland unappetizing food often on offer at hotels. No one chooses this quarantine period lightly...we have no choice so being accommodated by such friendly willing staff makes everything more bearable We literally lack for nothing. The room is comfortable and well equipped and its easy for me to work whilst my partner catches up with the cricket! The security are very friendly and have treated us with utmost respect ...they are doing their best to allow us unrestricted exercise ...we accepted the rules when we signed up for this, so like it or not, the security are simply doing their jobs . The frustration at the taking away of our civil liberties needs to be directed at our governments not our citizens. To be fair this is a 2 way street. I would like to hear the hotel staffs response to the negative reviews that they have received. It seems to me that you get back pretty much what you give out . On our journey thus far we have come across apalling behavior from fellow travelers towards security personnel. I know Covid restrictions are often severe and over the top and frustration levels in general with the Pandemic are high but there's no excuse for rudeness and I for one am shocked at how people justify lashing out at those employed to enforce these rules. Aurora staff we are extremely grateful to you for accommodating us so we can get back to our loved ones asap. The only way that this enforced stay can be improved for those that follow is open and honest communication. Day I and counting!

Not really near city centre, but the environment here is brilliant, and the bar staff are really nice

I stayed here only for one night while waiting for my flight next morning. Things I liked: -The hotel was pretty comfortable -Very friendly and welcoming staff -Very close to the airport which made it super convenient. -The room felt very comfortable -Better price than other hotels in the area Things I didn't like: -The hotel feels a little old. -Doesn't offer anything outstanding other than barely common necesites. -The telephone had no cable, so I couldn't call reception. -The water heater kettle was a little dirty and rusty.

Getting to the hotel After some inconspicuous sign-posting and a short chat with a driver of a different hotel shuttle bus, I was able to make my way to the hotel from Gatwick. It was a short ride, and the shuttle takes card, so there's no need to try and scramble change together. The hotel The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and the restaurant has decent meals. The room itself was nice and clean, and I got a great night sleep before my next flight. Getting to the airport The shuttle arrives right outside the hotel, and there are timetables at reception. The shuttle is available early to late and was on time.

The most perfect place to stay. Margarita was the most amazing host. I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and we all got ready there in the morning with the Hair Dressers and Make up Artists. Margarita was so accommodating and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, she even came to my rescue when the top button on my wedding dress came off and she sewed me back into my dress - life saver!! I then stayed the following night with my husband and again everything was perfect. The interior is beautiful and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. Thank you SO much Margarita xx

It's clearly had a good refurb at least superfically, but why not put new doors in with better sound isolation from the corridor? and more acosutic isolation in the walls? and fix the plumbing as you can hear endlessly singing taps from all corners of the floors? And windows that do not open to let fresh air in and get dust out? and automatic front doors that dont knock you over when you walk in. Also £25 PER NIGHT for parking is absurd. Location is fairly close to gatwick for flights but pretty aweful for any other reason as such i would nto reccomend for local business needs

I don't understand the negative reviews on here. It's a beautiful hotel with a lot of intricate furnishings to make a feel like a European lodge. The room was spacious and clean. The water pressure was super strong, so it did spray out of the sink, but the shower was great. It's not far from the airport, but it's not really close to anything of note. However, since we had no plans really, we just walked to downtown Crawley through all the charming neighborhoods and footpaths and had nice afternoon eating fresh blackberries from the path and doing a Pub Crawl(ey). Once back to the hotel, there's a wonderful large grassy area the kids ran around in all evening while I drank ice cold pints from the bar. It was perfect.
