The highlight of this hotel is the staff. Faiza, and the reception team were always super caring, attentive, nice and ready to help. The breakfast staff I don't remember any names but one of the guys were glasses, he and the whole team were really nice and smiley and eager to make sure I was comfortable and got everything I needed. Agnes from cleaning was always very sweet and so hardworking making sure the room was perfect and super clean. Regarding the hotel itself it is okay. The carpets in the ro gave a very old look but it depends on the taste I guess. The biggest problem for me was the fact that there was no gym.

The best option to stay in London from Gatwick. The staff so kind, educated and always friendly. They checked all the time our stay necessities. Help us with an extra sofa bed, I will appreciate it all the rest of my life. The breakfast are amazing options, excellent quality, good taste and comfortable into the salon. Very near to the airport (access), big rooms and amenities are higher level than I have seen in Europe.

I stayed here only for one night while waiting for my flight next morning. Things I liked: -The hotel was pretty comfortable -Very friendly and welcoming staff -Very close to the airport which made it super convenient. -The room felt very comfortable -Better price than other hotels in the area Things I didn't like: -The hotel feels a little old. -Doesn't offer anything outstanding other than barely common necesites. -The telephone had no cable, so I couldn't call reception. -The water heater kettle was a little dirty and rusty.

Its Day 1 of our quarantine and I feel compelled to write about our experience here so far under difficult circumstances. Having read so many horror stories of quarantine hotels in the UK we thought keeping expectations low would be the best bet and would render minimum frustration all round. But I am happy to report that the staff at the Arora Gatwick have surpassed all expectations ! Everyone we have encountered thus far, from young Mohamed who helped us with the form filling ,to Jerry at reception who has been kindness personified and the wonderful lady(apologies didn't get your name)who just assisted with my IT problems,has bent over backwards to help us. The food so far is fresh, tasty and more than adequate. In fact its excellent considering the restrictions in delivery .I am a vegetarian so its a delight to have such well spiced food, a huge departure from the bland unappetizing food often on offer at hotels. No one chooses this quarantine period lightly...we have no choice so being accommodated by such friendly willing staff makes everything more bearable We literally lack for nothing. The room is comfortable and well equipped and its easy for me to work whilst my partner catches up with the cricket! The security are very friendly and have treated us with utmost respect ...they are doing their best to allow us unrestricted exercise ...we accepted the rules when we signed up for this, so like it or not, the security are simply doing their jobs . The frustration at the taking away of our civil liberties needs to be directed at our governments not our citizens. To be fair this is a 2 way street. I would like to hear the hotel staffs response to the negative reviews that they have received. It seems to me that you get back pretty much what you give out . On our journey thus far we have come across apalling behavior from fellow travelers towards security personnel. I know Covid restrictions are often severe and over the top and frustration levels in general with the Pandemic are high but there's no excuse for rudeness and I for one am shocked at how people justify lashing out at those employed to enforce these rules. Aurora staff we are extremely grateful to you for accommodating us so we can get back to our loved ones asap. The only way that this enforced stay can be improved for those that follow is open and honest communication. Day I and counting!

The room was unlocked when we entered. We could not use the mirror in the bathroom because then we had to open a curtain to the garden. Outside looked like a graveyard for cars and there was garbage all over the place. Don’t think it belonged to the hotel but yet it was very visible from the room. On the plus side it was fairly cheap, not very dirty and the room was large.
