Hotel dengan Bar di Culgoa

Great country pub! Even though it was not en route, I'm glad I chose to stay there for a night. The husband and wife who run the pub are very accommodating, friendly and sincere. It was the 2023 FIFA women's world cup on a Saturday night, so this small pub was very busy. It has a lovely atmosphere, very family friendly and wholesome. I had a Kaneira Pub burger for dinner and there was a bench for free tea and coffee. Given all the meals are prepared by Mrs Schoonderwoerd, with no other staff, it was a bit of a wait on such a busy night. But to apologise, Mr Schoonderwoerd upgraded my room. The queen bedroom was basic but all linen was clean and it was comfortableon a cold late winter night without needing the heater. If I ever venture so far off my usual route across Vic again, I will definitely consider staying again. It's so refreshing to stay in a country pub like this, no dispirited drunken fights, over-volume soulless music, etc. but a place locals like to go out and enjoy a meal and catch up with friends.
