It’s a very good hotel for the price. They have a lot of amenities but the pool was closed the entire stay.

Be careful for the older man, he made us very uncomfortable standing at our door. We were loading our car up and he just stood there looking in. I informed him I was uncomfortable and he didn’t move. My husband had to tell him for than once I was uncomfortable and that isn’t okay to do to anyone and it is weird and he slowly walked away. Rooms were very dirty and cleaned bare minimum. It is also EXTREMELY over priced, you can find something nice(r) for $100 a night. Once we left they didn’t even enter the room so they just chose to stand there. We were packed up at check out but being that I’m pregnant my husband loaded the car on his own while I waited. I had cleaned the room minus the bedding and towels as well so we had no intentions on staying or destroying anything. If you absolutely need a room like we did (we are here to lay my father to rest and it was the 4th) then 1 night is fine but be out before check out so they don’t do the same to you.

When we first arrived, we were in a second floor room. I asked for a ground floor room because both my friend and I are disabled veterans. No problem, we were given a ground floor room. When we initially went into the room, it was quite hot in there. In an attempt to cool the room down, I found that the controls on the air conditioner turned all the way around, leaving me not really knowing where on the dial did it corollate with the cool setting. While sitting on the bed, I noticed the ceiling and the very evident water damage on the ceiling. There were large areas on the ceiling that showed where large areas were covered by sheetrock or wood, then covered with paint. There were other areas that showed long sections that had water damage that had not been fixed, too. The only amenity was the ice bucket. All in all, the bed was decently comfortable and got a fair night’s sleep, but the pillows were less than useful. The only thing that irritated me was the fact that housekeeping knocked on the door before 1100 am. We were already taking our belongings to the truck and when we tried to get back into the room to get the rest of our belongings, the card key no longer worked! I had to walk from one end of the motel to the other end to get back to the office; they had to reset the key I guess. Walking that distance was very difficult physically for me and I feel that would not have been necessary if the key continued to be effective in unlocking the door. I think next time I will stay somewhere else.
