Hotel berhampiran दारजी वॉटरफॉल, Darjeeling

I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel on 18th August in Siliguri after returning from Bhutan. Special mentions to Ms.Reshmi Ghosh for going out of her way to set up a birthday decorated room for me and to have upgraded me to a premium higher floor room. Really unforgettable stay and also tried lunch at their cinnamon terrace, thanks to Mr. Chandan for this friendly hospitality, I did however feel as good as the food tasted it was slightly cold. Nothing negative, just my experience. Overall a perfect stay.

Thank you for the great hospitality and the service (seamless check-in/out and nice gestures by F&B team on Daughters Day). Location is perfect with direct view of Kangchenjunga Peak from the property and the location would keep you near to the Mall Road. Special thanks to Front Desk team (Priyesh Chettri - for arranging the sight seeing schedule and a professional cab person with no hassle during the trip; Vansita - for advising on the walking routes) and F&B Team (Sonam and team) for making the stay special. Gratitude to Chef George for serving the requests as per requirement, means a lot. Making long story short - would recommend this to everyone and worth staying. Thank you once again.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Darjeeling. The staff members at the White Yak Hotel went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm smiles and genuine interest in making guests feel welcome created a truly inviting atmosphere. the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a range of amenities that enhanced my stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation options.

Stayed here for 2 nights. And I'll give the real picture. Good things first... 1) Room was perfect as per the amount I paid. Eventually, they upgraded me even before I asked for it. Room had all amenities one might need during a stay 2) Behaviour of the entire team is awesome. They served me with a smile... Every single time. And they never said NO for any of my requests. Now, few serious stuffs to look into.... 1) Location, which is 1 Km from Darjeeling Mal, While Keventers & Mahakal Chowk are 500 mts. And you don't get any view from the room 2) They have communication issues, perhaps language barrier. On Day-2 I requested to replenish the complimentary drinking water. But IRD team member arrived with packaged drinking water. But again, their behaviour is damn good. He took that back & catered to my actual request 3) This was troublesome. I was supposed to check out at 0730 Hrs. And my room was with breakfast. I informed the Front Desk about the scenario in the previous evening. The ever friendly lady at the desk confirmed me that although Breakfast won't be available at that time, but she'll send sandwiches for me which I was Ok with. But when I called the desk at 6AM in the morning, the guy was clueless. He paid a courtesy visit to the room & said the message of providing sandwiches wasn't passed to him.... Again communication laps Overall the hotel is good & recommended. But don't book your room with breakfast if you have early morning departure.
