The hotel located in the ancient city of Datong right in front of the Huayan Monastery is wonderful. Spotlessly clean, furnished with style and elegance. The owners are very kind. Fresh fruit every day and ready to fulfill our wishes and requests.The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of excellent quality. Bathroom toiletries are provided. If you visit Datong you absolutely must not miss it!

The room is clean and spacious. The hostess gave us fresh fruits. The place is quiet in the day and night. Hotel is located opposite Huayan Temple and convenienfly walking distances to Drum / Bell tower and city walls. It’s also walking distance to 2 famous FenglinGe restaurant and Xijin Road Noodle Restaurant (喜晋道•面馆) and Fenglinge (凤临阁) - definitely must try for gourmet wannabes.

Good location, room on two floors was not so comfortable. The bed was rock hard and the room had an unpleasant smell of mould.
But the lady at the reception is very nice and tries her best.
The communal area is nice, with fishes, birds and even two peacocks.

We had an excellent stay thanks to the hosts, who were very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The room was also very quiet and with a very good situation inside the center of Datong. We recommend this hotel! Thank you from France.

Really nice hotel, just in front of the Huayan temple. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they even treated us with a bowl of fruit. The room is clean, and the bed confortable and very big. Highly recommended!!
