We have stayed at the Mount Lavinia many times over 25 years and they never fail to please. The staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help. The food and restaurants cannot be faulted in anyway. The range of different food on offer each day is amazing and always so fresh. The hotel offers a wonderful colonial feel combined with modern times. Rooms are maintained to a very high standard This is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you must go to Mr Thissa Lal, Endra, Dimuthu, Ifan Mackie and Aruni for their professionalism and kindness. It is not possible to name all those people that make this hotel so special but from the Front Door men through the whole hotel you never fail to do an excellent job and are fantastic ambassadors for the Mount Lavinia. Great location. Nice, clean room. Balcony and seating area. Got hot water! Restaurants nearby, city is just up the road. Staff are very friendly and welcoming....................................... Very happy with my experience at Villa Lavinia, and I would highly recommend.

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. Let me start with the good parts.... Our room, 709 was a large suite. It had two toilet rooms and lovely views of the Colombo skyline in one direction and of the sea looking the other direction. Depending on why you are staying at this hotel, it's location on the main road, a hike from the beach, may or may not be a good thing. For us, it was a good location. Staff was generally helpful, when they were available. Our room cleaning guy was great. Often around and always pleasant. We were at the hotel in May. Perhaps this was a particularly low visitor time of year. The place was pretty dead. And, there were times that it was difficult, if not impossible, for us to find any staff. There was never any real food available, that we saw. The one time we were ready and free to use the roof top swimming pool, on Saturday afternoon, seems to have been when they decided to chlorinate the pool. So, we were disappointed that we couldn't use it. The most disappointing (and perhaps the only really disappointing) thing about our stay at Anarva Mount Lavinia was the antiquated Wi-Fi system that was totally inadequate for most anything. It was a real frustration and seems to be quite inexcusable in 2023.

My recent stay at Clock Inn Dehiwala was an absolute delight. The hotel location and exceptional service made it a memorable experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the welcoming staffs Akash and Dara made me feel right at home. I arrived late at the night and check-in process was quick and smooth.Also they were giving me suggestions about my dinner for the night which is very thoughtful of them. The room was spacious ,clean and well decorated, bed and pillows are so comfortable and that makes me sleep like a baby through out the stay.The bathroom is like a half of the room size, shower area is seperated with glass doors. The breakfasts is excellent with a choice of continental and some local foods with fresh fruits, Juice and serials.Sangeedhaan is always will be there at live cooking station with a big smile to help you.The only suggestion I have is to have a cold milk during breakfast time. I really enjoyed the garden out side of the room where where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea through out the day . The housekeeping staffs, Neris , Kogul and Sagar is so friendly and always will be there to assist with a big smile. Specially Neris,he will always greeted with a big smile. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was attentive and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Clock Inn Dehiwala exceeded my expectations. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this charming hotel for a wonderful getaway. I can't wait to return for another stay in the future.

This was the place we chose to stay for 5 days when Colombo curfew was enforced. For 5 days Bandar was more than helpful, ket everyone happy and things clean. Even with food shortage we had an amazing stay. It felt like home away from home. Thank you to the owner and a very special thank you to Bandar. Stay safe Sri Lanka!

I love this hotel I started my Sri Lanka trip here and rebooked on my return to Colombo. Great hotel, great prices, super clean, comfy bed, wonderful food, amazing pool and great staff hopefully I get to go back one day!!😀

Loved our stay in Radission hotel, we we’re upgraded to a ocean view room and the view was so good , thank you to the staff Arafat who were so friendly and kind, the breakfast and the food in the roof top was so good, definitely will stay in this hotel if we happen to come to Colombo again ❤️ Thank you so much

Wonderful staff, restaurant was outstanding, courteous, polite and extremely helpful…a little gem in a are working city. Reception staff were amazing. Roof top bar was wonderful especially the bar staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay. One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.
