The best place for Honeymoon trip 😍😍

An absolutely amazing resort with the most helpful people and beautiful facilities. I loved my stay there. The only downside was that you had to pay huge prices for everything. The resort price alone is really expensive, and they should add some of the water sports to that expense. Not everyone wants or can afford) the all inclusive, so a few of the water sports should be included for everyone. Kayaks, paddle boards etc. should be “free” for every guest.  I really can’t complain about anything else, it was beautiful and peaceful, and it is a great resort to go to! They also communicated with the sea planes and made it super easy to get to and from the airport to the island. Thank you!

Dhigufaru is an absolutely magical place. I have been to a fair few islands in the Maldives but this one is just the best. The island is small but beautiful. The beaches are stunning and I’ve never seen more gorgeous sunsets anywhere, every single night. We stayed in a semi water villa with a massive bathroom with 2 showers and a bath. It was perfect. The food was lovely with plenty of variety and choice. My only suggestion would be to offer some gluten free bread and pasta for us coeliacs. But what really makes this place so special is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly and always welcome you with a big smile. They really are one big happy family. A special thanks to Shibaz, the resort manager and Faisal for making my partners 50th birthday so special. They really pulled it out the bag, including not one, but two birthday cakes and a surprise movie night on the beach for us and some friends. Also, the sunset cruise they invited us on was amazing. A big thanks to Mary, our host, for looking after us. Also, a big thank you to Thilak and all the girls at the Thundi pool bar. A great place to hang out during the day, sipping a cocktail or two or for drinks at sundown. Also a big thank you to Nina, Jean-Luc, Niko and all the dive team. The snorkelling trips were brilliant and I fulfilled my dream of seeing loads of Manta Rays! Overall, I cannot recommend this beautiful, tranquil island enough. It’s not the poshest but it’s by far my favourite for the people, the mantas, the sunsets and the warm hospitality we were shown throughout our stay.

We spent 10 days there, great island.. little remote..but very quiet. Great houses and great buffet. We did some great diving with the instructor Nicolas and we had the chance to swim with manta rays! There are shops on the island, even a great doctor Ashique as we needed some attention. Thank you Nicolas, thank you Ashique.

A visit to the Maldives had been on my wife’s bucket list for many years, a big birthday for me provided the perfect opportunity for her to book a trip. I was consulted about what I might like, my list included a decent seaplane ride, excellent snorkelling, big game fishing and comfortable accommodation in the form of a water bungalow. A booking at Dhigufaru was made. I was not disappointed. The meet and greet service at Male airport was excellent and we were quickly transferred to the seaplane terminal and the ride over the atolls was spectacular. When we arrived, it was to a proper desert island, but with every amenity that a stranded person would need to survive in quite some style. There was a warm welcome and very efficient check in, we were shown to our room, a magical water bungalow set a few feet above the water, fish and corals. Mary who was the lead for customer service was first class and made sure anything we wanted to know or needed was catered for and was charming to boot. The accommodation was excellent, super comfy bed with a view over the reef and a bathroom, similarly orientated with bath that was big enough to properly float in. The food in the main restaurant was very good with a wide range of choices, freshly made and super waiting and kitchen staff. There were plenty of amenities on the island, however the main draw for us was the reef with excellent snorkelling which we spent hours ever day gazing at. There were very good facilities to help people who were less confident in the water get out and excursions off island, where we swam with turtles and manta rays. We booked a day out big game fishing, which involved a very early start, and we were accompanied by one of the resort managers Faisal who came with us on his day off to ensure all went to plan, and we had a crew who knew what they were doing. The early start and motor out were all part of the adventure, once we got to the designated fishing area, we quite simply had one of the best fishing trips ever, the rods did not rest until it was time to motor back. Before sunset, each day there was a huge gathering of big stingrays, reef and lemon sharks all seeking out an bit of fish from the kitchen. Needless to say, the days spun past too quickly and we did not want to leave and will definitely be going back. The Maldives are a place of wonder and not to be missed. Our seaplane was delayed a bit on the taxi way coming home, dolphins on the runway….it doesn’t get much better than that. A big thank you to the team who made for an unforgettable trip.

Went for my 50th birthday , lovely place, staff were great, friendly, supportive, Mary was always there to answer any questions and was looking after us since we arrived until we left. Complementary room upgrade for my birthday . Plenty food choices at the restaurant. Amazing views, clear waters white sand ️️recommended.

Well what can I say… we have juts returned from a 5 night stay on the Dhigufaru Island Resort and we will most definitely be back! Huge mention to MARY who was so professional from collecting us from the sea plane to our return to the sea plane. Throughout our stay Mary was also available 24/7 for any queries she was on what’s app which meant we could message and did not need to go to reception. Thank you Mary for looking after us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️ The resort itself is absolutely stunning! We stayed in the sunset water villa with pool and we were not disappointed! The room was perfect and the view during sunset was beautiful The food at the resort was perfect lots of choice for everyone. Every day and night there was different specialty dishes and all were so tasty!! . The drinks at the Thundi Pool Bar were fantastic The cocktails were delicious. Special mention to Abdul who works at the Thundi bar who always made sure we had our drinks topped up before we had finish. He was very attentive and lovely to chat with. We were all inclusive and the sunset fishing,kayaking and snorkelling and guilded reef tour snorkel were all included in our package. This was great fun! We even managed to catch some fish we did visit the spa which was lovely and peaceful. There is stingray and shark feeding at the Jetty every night at 5.30pm this is wonderful to watch and you can touch the stringray before or after their feed. We particularly enjoyed the Karaoke night entertainment something we would not normally do but we had so much fun. Mary who also runs the karaoke night is one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard!!! Thank you for getting us involved. The other entertainment nights are fantastic too. We will definitely be returning to the resort and will be recommending to Our friends and family!! Thank you for a great holiday. We hope to return again soon ❤️

This is our second time at Dhigufaru Island Resort and we are sure it is not the last one. The booking was smooth, contacting the resort directly to book the water place. The replies are very quick, polite and helpful. When arriving we were greeted in a precial way as returning guests. As a small tip I recommend to let them know if you have something special during the trip, like an anniversary, honey moon, birthday, ets and you will be pampered. The Island is very beautiful having amazing beaches with different settings so you feel like getting a diverse bathing experience. There are a lot of water activities on offer. It will be a great accomodation, being it a water villa or a beach bungalo. We tried both and were very happy. Special thank you goes to the amazing chef Maurice Perera. He and his crew do an amazing job in satisfying the guests' taste buds! So much divercity, every day a new menu, amazing indian dishes and deserts, excellent special dinners! OMG, the food was just heavenly. Plenty of vegetarian and healthy options. Also I had an amazing experience at the spa with great back/shoulder/head massage done by Erlina. Great Balenise technique and very friendly, proffessional and kind service. Generally, everyone, who helped us was nice, friendly and wanted to contribute to us having an amazing holiday. Definitely worth visiting. Pros - basically everything. Cons - if there are any wishes during your stay, they will try to satisfy them all so you do not experience any Cons.

We had the best time in Dhigufaru. The staff was very kind and professional. Special Kudos to Afaa our island host, Vena at the restaurant and Nina at the water sport center. We stayed in water villa and pool water villa. It was very relaxing with a magnificent sea view.

Very good service, various and tasty food (one of the best I’ve experienced traveled 64 countries), cozy room (sunset bungalow). The last but not the least is location: it’s close to Hanifaru Bay with its Mantas. As for the resort itself, they have stingrays coming for feeding each evening- impressive experience!

It was so pleasant to stay at Dhigufaru island resort. Opted for beach villa and water villa.. Rooms were very nice, neat and clean. Mary was soo nice to us. She was like 24*7helpline n felt like family. Overall it’s a nice place for a vacation..
