Dream Vision Guest House

Strange room a little small for a big bed. Good value, friendly, helpful staff able to advise about tours and where to go, English speaking. Food available though only breakfast tried which was fine, a big tick for small and big size hot drinks, it was nice to hold a mug again.Highpoint was the garden and waking to birds singing as opposed to dogs or motorbikes. Location good less than 10 mins to everything on foot. As of early March 2024 2 of the main churches are closed for renovations, the fort is open but also undergoing restoration/ a rebuild? They are also ? building a promenade near the closest beach and either side of the fort and ? Installing a sewage system simultaneously. Personally the main attraction was the coloured houses which are unaffected.

Lovely couple running this clean, spacious and good value. Good roms attentive Staff and owners that take time for interesting discussions. Part from Hindi they are fluent in english, spanish and potuguise ( and mayby more). Good wifi cover in shared areas, but not in every room. Close to busstation and other facilities in Diu town. Short walk from beach as seafront is not developed. 5-10 min walk to restaurants and 15 min walk from old fort. Strongly rekomended

The hosts of Dream Vision Guest House are very welcoming and friendly, I had my best stay in my whole India trip in their hotel. I recommend going to Diu even just for staying there and relax a few days, it is a great place to take a break from the Golden Triangle and ectic India. At Dream Vision Guest House they have a beautiful small garden and a nice breakfast menu. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The location is very good, in the center of diu town. I recommend renting a scooter (they call it 'bike'), for any kind of tips, information and help you can ask the hosts and they will help you out. Would definetely come back!

We all loved the welcoming atmosphere of the guest house. It is a good place just like a homestay. Staff was cooperative. The breakfast was also lovely. The ambience is impressive and we clicked many pictures there. Had dance and music at restaurant. Played carrom. Overall a great experience.

My friend and I stayed here for unfortunately only ONE night…….if we had known how lovely it was we would definitely have stayed longer. Although Dream Vision is a ‘Budget’ hotel, the rooms are clean and if you have an en-suite so much the better. On our arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner and her brother, both having lived in England, this was perfect for us as communication can be a problem in Gujarat and it was so good to just have a normal chat ! We were brought delicious chai and a round cake ball which was was most welcome after a long drive from Bhuj . There is an enclosed garden/vegetable patch complete with cow and calf,very well cared for on both fronts ! There are chairs to sit on and watch all the birds and butterflies especially early in the morning ,small area in reality but big on the relaxation side. Dream Vision is a lovely place to stay in Diu.,perfect location,very good atmosphere and the quirky artefacts scattered around add to its magical charm . Hopefully one day we can come back and stay longer.

The well maintained and cozy place with good service gave us very nice experience. If you are looking for a stay in Diu, give a try to this place it will give you some homely experience. Thanks to the staff members for such a good hospitality.

Where do you start with Dream Vision!? Well we came to Diu with the intention of just staying a couple of days before moving on but completely beguiled by this fabulous homely guest house we ended up staying FIVE WEEKS! The warmth & hospitality from hosts Dhamistra & Milesh (apologies if misspelt) is simply without peer. The welcome you receive is so natural & comfortable that you immediately feel at home & one of the family. The rooms are spotless & well maintained as is the entire building. The garden & sheltered seating area is a secret oasis from the hustle bustle outside & a terrific place to socialise with fellow travellers over a nice coffee, grab a tasty bite to eat courtesy of Dhamistra’s fabulous cooking or simply hang & read a book, catch up with those emails etc. The garden is like a village with cows in the shed providing daily fresh milk & beautiful staff ladies in village attire gracefully attending to the various chores of busy guest house maintenance. If you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse of the resident mongoose family frolicking amongst the vegetables. It’s so easy to chill here for an entire morning (which we often did) meaning those planned trips out get postponed ‘til next day. Milesh & Dhamistra are a mine of information as to exploring both the local area & further afield so ensure you tap into their vast knowledge of things to see & do. There’s plenty to occupy you, far FAR more than the obvious information found in the guide book. The Fish market (at 7:00 AM) is an absolute must for starters! A special mention for Bhavesh who is responsible for night management & ensuring everything is secure & guests are safely tucked up before lock up. His smile & general Bon homie is in complete keeping with the charm of this wonderful hostelry. I could go on but enough already .. give it a whirl yourselves .. you will not be disappointed!!! This place is absolutely wonderful and run by such great people! The owners were so kind and totally flexible with us when we wanted to extend our stay and didn't mind when we were late checking out. It was refreshing and really appreciated. Good location in the old town but close to everything. They provide a lovely seating area where you can enjoy chai, breakfast and even dinner upon request. It's set back from the road so it's nice and peaceful too. This large guest house has plenty of space, rooms with attached bathrooms and a nice roof top terrace. The rooms are reasonably priced as well! I highly recommend this for anyone's stay in Diu. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we return to the island!

Dream Vision is a must visit place in Diu. Milesh Bhai and Bhavesh are very kind and very supportive from the start. The feel is different here and they call it as Guest House which reminds you always "Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination"
