The place is small but mightier in the service they provide. Aesthetically appealing. Staff were very lovely, kind, courteous and understood the assignment. My friends and I paid extra for the massage service which I will do again as the lady who attended to us knew her onions(she is very good… thank you again😊).
I rode a bicycle after almost 20years, this was free🤩
Downside for us was that “Jacuzzi wasn’t included in the booking”. We didn’t know about this as it was not stated online prior to making the booking and it was part of the reason we chose the place. Information and reviews I read sort of says you have free access to jacuzzi but it is not so however, we expressed our concern regarding this and they where thoughtful enough to allow us use it as a welcome/thank you note from the management.❤️
On behalf of my friends and I, we enjoyed the service/this place.

What a great place! I was a little worried as it was about 2 km from the old town, but that was a five euro trip by taxi. They have parking fast Wi-Fi and the hotel is super super friendly with really really nice rooms, upscale, bathrooms, a great restaurant, pool, everything you want. I unfortunately only had one night to stay and asked if it was possible to have a few pieces of laundry done. She said yeah that’s no problem and it’s For everything you need washed. Never have I had a hotel say that to me before! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Susana helped me and is the best!

From the moment we set foot in this hotel,we were made to feel special. The warm welcome from the staff and the owner was a lovely surprise. Everyone here is so kind and always smiling. The hotel is beautiful, our room with a sea view is totally amazing. Breakfast is plentiful, and the jacuzzi, well what can say, the views are breathtaking. My partner and I have been spoilt from day one, this hotel and everyone that works here is nothing short of perfect. Thank you to everyone at hotel Alkima, you have made our holiday ❤️ Steve and Sally.

The hotel was nice and clean and although there is no elevator it was ok to get some exercise . It's not the best for families though , although we had 5 kids under the age of 8 we didn't feel the hotel was set out for young kids and felt like a hinderance to the staff. There is no privacy either , the staff are always hanging about by the small reception and you are constantly watched through their CCTV cameras , they monitor you doing everything at all times . They tried to charge us for breakfast by saying they saw us in the kitchen area and that we needed to pay despite us only sitting in the dining area and not consuming anything. They smile to your face but try to catch you doing wrong things all the time and it's hard to relax as you constantly feel you are being monitored or judged

We had an amazing stay here - it really is a uniquely great hotel. The stand-out part is definitely the staff. They are so friendly and happy to help with anything. They organised a boat trip that picked us up from the beach by the hotel which saved us walking to the old town. The hotel itself is modern and very clean. Our room had a partial sea view as described which was beautiful, it was spacious and kept very clean by the great housekeeping. The breakfast was yummy and had a good selection. Your eggs were cooked fresh by the chef how you liked. The grounds and pool were also great - we loved the tortoises roaming around! We had such a great experience here - the complete opposite from a lot of other hotels which are bigger and do not take as much care. The hotel is also a great location for exploring the wider area, it was walkable to Kotor old town and lots of restaurants in the surrounding area - it was only a 1 minute walk to the beach. We hired a car which we could park for free at the hotel, and were able to see more of Montenegro this way. Would definitely recommend a trip to Perast, the cable cars to explore Lovcen national park and Budva.

We had everything we needed for our honeymoon: Comfy room, tasty breakfast and a super welcoming staff. The location also worked really well for us. We felt comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. The hotel had bikes for us to use, which was a really convenient way te get around. The jacuzzi was really nice too, we got to marvel at the scenery while enjoying the warm water. The best part of Alkima is definitely the amazing and friendly staff, we strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who appreciates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Hubby and I visited Kotor in September for our wedding anniversary. It was our first trip to Kotor and we were so pleased with our choice of hotel. We stayed in an ocean view room on the top floor, which has fabulous views of the Bay. The hotel is spotlessly clean and breakfast was great. But the main thing that makes this hotel special is the absolutely wonderful staff, all of them! They all work so hard to make your experience there the best it can be. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home. The hotel is about a 25 minute scenic walk to the town of Kotor. We personally loved staying out of town as we felt we got to see so much more and got more of s feeling of the place. There are lots of great places to eat around the hotel and along the walk into town, and the staff had some great recommendations. If you have time we highly recommend a trip up the newly built cable car as the views are breathtaking!! The staff at the hotel can book a taxi there and there are taxis there fir the journey back. Also, it is really well worth paying for the 2 hour exclusive use of the rooftop Spa at the hotel , you will not regret it, its such a treat and more fabulous views ! We will definitely be back! Loved it.
