Hotel Residence Inn di Dortmund

Sehr modern eingerichtet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem. Vielen Dank.

Mein Aufenthalt fand im September 2023 statt. 2 Nächte Ich war bereist im Dezember 2022 in diesem Hotel Gast. Lage und Hotel: Sehr ruhig, direkt gegenüber des BVB Fußballstadions. Messe, je nach Halle, in wenigen Metern erreichbar, U-Bahn Station zu Fuß 3-5 min entfernt. Service: Sehr freundliches Personal im ganzen Haus. Trotz Zimmerwunsch per Mail und Mailkontakt im Vorfeld mit dem GM Herrn. Be…. Habe ich als ALL Gold Mitglied habe ich KEIN Upgrade erhalten. Und nein, das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht, sondern nur teilweise belegt. Zimmer: Sehr sauberes, ruhig gelegen. Der Stil der Einrichtung ist nicht mehr der allerneueste (zu Hause tauscht man die Möbel aber auch nicht alle 5 Jahre), aber der Zustand des Mobiliars war einwandfrei, keine Beschädigungen etc. Frühstück: Beim Frühstücksbuffet waren alle wichtigen Bestandteile vorhanden: Div. Brotsorten / Brötchen, Marmeladen / Nutella / Honig, div. Wurst – und Käsesorten, Lachs, Bacon, Rührei und was sonst noch dazu gehört. Was es leider nicht gab, und was man in einem 4 Sterne Haus erwarten darf, ist frisch geschnittenes Obst (z.B. Melone, Ananas, Pfirsich etc) zum Frühstück. Das habe ich bereits im Dezember 2022 bemängelt – keine Änderung. Es gab zwar eine Schüssel ungeschälter ganzer Äpfel und eine „Fertigobst Mischung“, das war aber schon sehr dürftig. Das können Motel One & Co mittlerweile mindestens genauso gut. Ebenso war die Präsentation des Buffet sehr funktional, wenig einfallsreich. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel, mit kleinen Schwächen beim Frühstück.

La façade n’est franchement pas terrible mais l’intérieur par contre c’est magnifique l’hôtel est très propre. Les chambres sont incroyables et la salle de bain avec du marbre ajoute énormément de charme. Petit bémol c’est qu’on entend la circulation durant la nuit. Le wifi est top, la réception parle aussi bien anglais qu’allemand et même français. Le parking payant est correct. J’ai adoré mon passage ici

Stayed here while attending Dortmund football match. Location : Great location, literally around the corner from main shopping district with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Great area. The underground train station is around the corner and the main train station about 20 mins walk or less. Rooms: Our room was nice (117) we had 3 in our party so the room had one double bed and a pull out sofa bed which was a double. It left the room with hardly any space to walk around so was quite tight. The decor was nice. However the seal on the window was damaged so you could actually feel the breeze getting in (during snow weather) The tv had only one English Channel so wasn’t great. BE WARNED check if there is any party’s or function on in the hotel if you are staying in this room as there was a party on while we stayed and literally felt like the dj was in our wardrobe the music was that loud. Singing and talking could even be heard clearly. I did say it to girl in reception the next morning and she apologised but literally got no sleep until music stopped. Bar/Food: We did not have dinner in the hotel restaurant so cannot comment. Restaurant decor was ok, very 1920’s feel. There is a very small bar that usually only opens from 5pm-12pm however one of the days they opened for us to have a drink at 3:30pm which was no bother for them, they were very nice and a special mention to Ben the new Barman from the UK. He’s great! Breakfast wasn’t great, but that may be just us that’s used to Irish style food. Not much hot food on offer, pancakes and plenty fab pastries though. If going to a Dortmund match : We travelled to Dusseldorf airport and got the sky train into the main train station on to Dortmund €16.50 each one way. It was difficult to find out correct trains ect as very bad signage at airport and trains so do your homework before you get there. It took us over an hour to figure it out. Train journey from airport was 50 mins. We got a taxi from our hotel to signal iduna park and it took 8 mins and costs €14. Easy to get taxis after match too which was surprising.

I like the hotel . The location is nearby to the station and Dortmund shopping centre. Clean room.

This hotel is a business hotel. I myself visited for a work trip. It had everything you could need. The gym was very well equipped for someone trying to stick to routine while working away from home. The pool and saunas were lovely too. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The hotel has a wundermart which is handy if you get peckish. The only issue was dinner. The choice was very poor and both times I got food they were not fully cooked. The restaurant is also closed on Sundays.

Can't complain. Friendly staff, central location and a clean and tidy room. As status members we also got our free welcome drink. The shower gel in our room was empty, but instantly replaced when we asked for it at the reception. As the price was cheap, the value was good.

Scandal!!!! No one should go to this place. This place is a fraud, it is advertised differently from what it really is. I booked and paid, as soon as I went I left immediately, the place had insects, the rooms had very dirty walls, stained curtains and the bathroom was broken. everywhere was dirty, the sheets were unwashed and had hair when you opened them. you were worried about the violation. I didn't share and booking didn't take care to return my money, they lied to me that I would get my money and they didn't return it. it's not a hotel but a hostel, it's terrible.

Das Hotel ist direkt an der B1 gelegen, weshalb man dieses gut findet. Die Parksituation ist jedoch etwas schwierig. An der Straße selbst ist die Parkplatzsuche meist nicht von Erfolg gekrönt und die Tiefgarage ist für neuere Autos sehr eng. Das Hotel selbst ist gut und für eine Nacht kann man nichts dazu sagen. Leider ist es jedoch in manchen Punkten (z.B. Badezimmer) etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist seinen Preis auf jeden Fall wert. Eine gute Auswahl und für alles etwas dabei.
