Hotel berhampiran Al Khawaneej Walk, Dubai

Great hotel for short stays or layover at Dubai , buffet is fine , shuttle bus to airport is hard to find the first time you take it , just ask anyone at the airport they will help you find it , just remember its in the same building as the car park , metro , car rental , in front of terminal 3 , shuttle is 24 hrs every 30 minutes . If you don’t want the buffet there is a supermarket and small plaza behind the hotel

Co located in a shopping and office building there is plenty on hand to assist a stay. The Carrefour Market on the ground floor opposite the hotel lobby is extremely handy. Unfortunately, it does add to the time spent in lifts as they traverse the shopping and office levels. The hotel is not flash and is a little tired in decor, but the staff are pleasant and helpful even though they may be short of numbers for the busy times. Breakfast in the Tulip Restaurant is a good spread with many varieties of food available including a live omelette station. It’s also a pleasant view over the lagoon. The 11th floor rooms are a good size but the view can be a little drab when faced with the empty office block. The decor tiredness reveals itself in the lingering smoke smell even though the floor is a designated non-smoking zone. As to overall value, I can’t really give any pointers as I didn’t pick up the tab for my seven night stay.

**Review:** I recently stayed at this hotel in Dubai, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, placing you right next to the metro station and in a good heart of the city with easy access to major attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a busy day of exploring. The value for money is outstanding, especially considering the range of services available. The hotel offers great amenities, including a well-maintained pool, which was a highlight for relaxation. However, the most impressive aspect was the customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, making me feel right at home. Despite being on a very tight budget, I felt I received five-star treatment. If I ever return to Dubai, even with a larger budget, I would still choose to stay at this hotel. It contributed significantly to my wonderful experience in the city. Thank you for everything!

Kapal hotel terletak di pelabuhan Rashid. Cara terbaik untuk ke sana adalah dengan teksi. Hotel ini menyediakan 3 pemindahan: pantai La Mer, Dubai Mall, Al Ghubaiba (metro, persiaran bersejarah, pusat membeli-belah). Pada waktu pagi adalah sukar untuk menghubungi teksi kakitangan hotel membantu dengan masalah ini. Untuk 50 dirham anda boleh mengambil bahagian dalam lawatan kapal, atau anda boleh berjalan-jalan sendiri dan melihat pameran muzium. Restoran, bar. Di dek bawah terdapat gim dan kolam renang mini. I have been a loyal guest at ALL(Accor) for several years, but my recent stay was quite disappointing, and a significant departure from the high standards I have come to expect. Upon arrival, I faced a frustrating delay in check-in. Despite having called the hotel beforehand to confirm my booking, I was made to wait until 4:00 PM to get into my room. This was particularly inconvenient as I had a long journey and needed to freshen up before a scheduled event. Adding to the frustration, a special request I made a week prior to my stay was completely ignored. When I brought this up at the front desk, not only did they claim they had no record of my request, but the manager's response was surprisingly rude and dismissive. This lack of professionalism and courtesy was deeply disappointing. The problems did not end there. The checkout process was equally cumbersome and time-consuming. It took much longer than it should have, adding unnecessary stress to the end of my trip. Overall, my recent experience at Mercure Mina Gold was far below par. The combination of delayed check-in, unacknowledged special requests, and an inefficient checkout process overshadowed the positive experiences I've had here in the past. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to restore the quality of service that regular guests like myself expect and deserve. Until then, I regret to say that I will be reconsidering my options for future stays.

我和太太於2024年三月三十一日入住杜拜香格里拉酒店，第一印象已經非常滿意，酒店大堂寬敞、明亮、佈置幽雅！所有員工服務態度有禮、誠懇、細心！ 而最驚喜是把我們所訂的普通房間升級至豪華貴賓房，雖然當時祇是上午十一時許，他們一方面引領我們到41樓的休閑室，享受茶點，另一方面立即分配在40樓的貴賓房間給 我們休息，非常貼心！ 另外，我們也嘗試過酒店內著名的越南餐廳，食物不止多款式，而且味道美味、賣相亦吸引！ 總括逗留在酒店的三日兩夜，百份百有賓至如歸，甚至有點受龎若驚的感覺！哈哈！ 下次若有機會再來杜拜旅行，我們一定再選擇入住這香格里拉酒店！

I have stayed in this property in the month of February from Feb 26th to March 5th for a period of 7 nights, it was a family vacation with my parents who are senior citizens. We were welcomed by Ms.Lisa front desk executive, she immediately checked is in and the room provided was very good, comfortable and cozy, the bathroom was also functional, only issue was the drain, the sink did not drain well and shower pressure little low, this needs improvement, other than that the stay was very good, the breakfast is decent but definitely needs improvement and needs to be more organised as it gets chaotic and the breakfast needs Indian items like Dosa , etc as these days more hotels have Indian options and the eggs also can be more fluffier and made better, more variety in breakfast is needed considering this is a 4 star property, especially the bakery items needs to be freshly made, not pre sourced bakery items like croissants etc, other than that, the hotel is excellent, we witnessed smoke on our floor whereas it was a non smoking floor, we complained to housekeeping and front desk and the management said they will take notice and take care for future, overall this a excellent property and has the potential to become hot seller in days to come , MOST importantly they need to maintain consistency in service and ensure the hotel doesn’t become a smoke haven by smelly corridors and smelly floors and smoky entrances, this property needs proper care, else it will become another holiday inn festival city which is a disastrous property, the Holiday inn business bay has the potential to become the most sought after property in days to come, a special mention to ALINA, KEKA, ANDREI,NADA from the breakfast team, they provide excellent service to guests and the hotel needs this kind of employees, the house keeping team is also very good, front desk Lisa is true wonderful woman , sweet, caring and loving and she needs to be promoted to maintain this property to highest standards, definitely enjoyable and highly recommended property.

Took a staycation holiday at the Palm and it was wonderful. The theming inside the hotel is gorgeous and the pool area is very pretty. I would advise couple travellers to think about the time they book as it can get really busy with families and small children that can influence the vibe. Food here is very overpriced and being so far away can make you feel trapped into buying very expensive meals. We went to Jamie Oliver’s Street Pizza restaurant which comps your meal if you make a new record of slices in your meal. I set two new records and had a meal comped for myself and my fiancé. We did buy a pin-a colada in a pineapple each at the bar and though it was very expensive for a drink, it was probably the best pin-a colada I ever had. The service can get tedious as you are asked at every corner of the hotel for your room number, I guess they have issues with people from the Waterpark trying to sneak into the hotel. The waterpark was a bit of a safety hazard but I’m sure a great day out with the kids. We had a great time, however I think for what we were looking for we would have preferred a more intimate getaway at a shangri-la for the price.
